Their is also DDR3, so three types of ram. But all in all a good guide, want me to contribute by adding my laptop into this =p

gj i am thinking about upgrading my labtops ram right now any ways and i dont wanna pay the like 50$ installation fee

 

Heres a small suggestion " Difficulty Factor 2/10 " ofcouse fonts colors and all that but may give some insight to the ease

 

why not just convert hard drive space into ram??

you never really showed how you changed the RAM and you said there is only 2 types of RAM, well that is what i come to think of atm that you could of changed or done better as people said b4 constructiv critisism is good for all of us XD haha other then that... it wasnt a really good guide... but the idea was good cause most people dont know how to change for example RAM wich really is easy as pie

I disagree entirely, I know that when i work on a guide for sythe, and all i get is people giving constructive criticism it makes me dislike making guides, Somone telling you great job is nice wether it helps make it beter or not.

 

Changing RAM is the easy thing in the world, However your forgot to mention one very important thing, UNPLUG your system, place your case on a hard surface, NO CARPETS. Make sure that you have no static built up anywhere or else you can fry your mobo.
