Alright I have a compaq Presario pc its a lower end gaming pc but it works fine no viruses or errors to complain about just display driver errors but I heard that was normal for vista. OK onto the point do you think it is safe/wise to leave my computer on overnight it will have only been on about 15 hours and I will shut it down for 5 or so it will only be running rs bot nothing else ALSO Em not asking if I will be banned im asking if it is a wise decision or could it damage my pc thank you sorry for the gramma

It's perfectly fine on all night! Atleast I think so. Mine is on for probably a week without shutting down. And if it is shut down once it's only for like 5 minutes 0.0 my computer goes through hell.

lol, no hard done unless you have crappy cooling. I have had my system on for weeks and weeks at a time, it rarely ever shuts down, works fine.

yes, compaq's can last WAY longer than a day with proper cooling. so you'll be fine.

Have you installed the overnight heat-preserver? If not, you could be losing money on the 15-80.

Yes, computers are actually built to run 24/7 (as long as theres nothing wrong with the fans/cooling to keep it from overheating).

Computers should never need to be turned off, nor do they need overnight heat preservers, whatever the hell they are. So don't worry

    A. You will not be banned.

    B. I havent shut my laptop down until it seriously crashes, So it was once on for... 4 weeks? Your fine overnighting, aslong as you make it so it can cool down properly. If it overheats, that might be a problem. You should shut the screen, and flip it upside down.

Lol my computer has been up for 659 hours since its been turned off. If a computer can't last overnight it's some serious shit.

yeah, I usually do the same thing over night with my comp also just put it like on a table and make sure the fan is off of the table otherwise your comp will get overheated.
