I’d support this. It’s definitely more active than the Items subsections, and those could potentially be re-housed into their respective account sections.

Support. As someone who's bought/sold a few names, I usually have more luck doing it directly on Discord rather than on Sythe which is the opposite case for just about anything else RS related. This could be fixed with more traffic to the name section of Sythe.

 

On top of issue that the item exchange section is relatively dead besides the occasional RS3 rare trade, like others have stated; I feel that Sythe just needs to fully embrace the fact that it's 95% RS based. I get that the admins/owners want to branch out into different games and be a more universal black market - but honestly speaking that ship has sailed long ago.

There are a ton of other avenues to obtain items/goods in other games.

TLDR; my irrelevant 2 cents and support for a more structured name selling/buying section.

 

I'm actually quite new to using these forums, but after reading these and looking at the sections I think it would only make sense to do it.

I myself will be looking for a rare name in the new year, not that I wouldn't be able to find it as I'm already a member of the community.. but if I weren't then I might not know/search quite as hard.

Support the idea (again I'm new, so not sure what my support is worth).

I support. The only two services I offer are RSN Related and Skilling/Questing/Minigames. I would LOVE to see this.

Support! I think name sales are very unique & they should not be all tangled up with the other market area.
There should be a distinguished name sales thread with more information to newcomers & to the community on safe trading practices & how to avoid losing your name (sniped) / and how to properly use name transfer services.
I also think Sythe.org should implement a “name transfer” role, just like OMM. I would 100% support this because it would include the tech core & the name experts to create a safer transfer process & help the market grow!

No one actually buys items let’s be honest.

 

We still feel both the sections make sense to have together - they are accessories for RuneScape accounts. As a compromise we have changed the order to reflect the Names section being far more popular then the item section.
