{TUT}How i get so many views,posts, and players!{TUT}

Alright so i'm posting this because alot of people have asked me how, and also have been congragulating me on 300+ views etc..

As most of you know, i have pretty much the best topic in the Hamachi part of the forums, and i wanted to show you how i do that.

I Don't think im better then anyone else but some people don't take time and leave detailed information that people wanna see!

In order i will explain how i get so many views/posts.

1. Basic needs

All posts need basic needs, thats what makes people want to view them.

Basic needs are things you need to do (For here you need to specify your Network name, password, I.P to connect to your server, port number, etc..)
All these are things you NEED to have to get players!

2. Information

People such as myself like reading posts with alot of information, and i've seen tons of topics that don't even have a paragraph of information.

Information is details of your server (Whats on your server, staff positions, downloads, upcoming events, pictures, forums, etc..)

Thats all information you need to get players, i know it doesn't seem like alot but trust me, it's worth it.

3. Helping

I've seen alot of posts with rudeness, and lazyness coming from them.

Being helpful actually gains players.
One day i was in my Hamachi network while coding my server and a player asks me why his server didn't work, i pollitely told him a few things that may fix it, he tried them and it worked. It's not that hard to help people that need help!

4. Leeching

You may be new to servers and have just downloaded a server off another site and just changed the names that the npcs say etc. Not many people like that such as me, you may have a source that people like, but it's leeched so tehy don't play ti, and complain about it, or you may have one thats popular and nobody wants to play it because yours is hamachi.

Just don't explain the full details if it is leeched, for example...

"~~FoozeScape v186.2~~
bla bla bla"

and you explain every single downright detail, and you know it's leeched, some people won't play it!

5. Asking for coding!

This doesn't help your server at all, it pretty much tells people it's leeched and they don't even wanna view your posts, or to just view it and laugh at how pathetic you are! Some people such as me liek helping people code, but only if they have experience!

Say some guy has no experience coding and asks for a team of coders, i wouldn't help, because he would expect me to code it all. Also some people like coding full servers but want pretty much all teh credit, and they take that too advantage.

So asking for help coding your server doesn't populate your server or your thread, it just embarasses you, and your server...

6. Reposting Topics..

This has to be one of the worst things that gets on my nerves.

Reposting servers, with different details but same amount of information, different server names, different ips, etc, is called reposting...

This backwashes your amount of views/players by a landslide.

It doesn't help anything, in fact it pisses some people off. It bumps over good thorough topics, when members read it thinking it's good it wastes time.
This can get alot of views but not alot of players....

7. Active replying

Alot of people need you to reply to teh thread for staff positions etc. I f you don't do this they will get tired of waiting and eventually run away to a different server and kiss up to teh owner...


So hopefully you follow these steps and have wonderful posts, i will be posting more tutorials after, but not like this, they will be like normal tutorials etc...

If you aren't in grade 1, you would know that our heads wouldn't go in teh barrel, they would go infront of the gun numnuts..

I wasn't trying to critisize him, im just trying to proove a point. I also thought it was funny that he had our heads on teh hadle, so it's not funny anymore, because he removed it.
