What is the pattern to solve this?

Alright, I will start a new one since no one continued.

A man is walking to the village of prosperity when he comes to a fork in the road. In between the two roads, there are two men. One of them is a liar and one is honest. Each of the two men knows which road leaves to the village of prosperity. The man is allowed to ask either one of them two questions, or each one one question. How does he find out which road is the correct road?

 

^^ two ways to solve that I know of

First the ask one two questions
choose one and ask: Is two plus two four?
then ask which road is the road to the village of prosperity?
If he answered true to the first question then he is the truthteller, if not he is the lier, the truthteller will tell you the right path and the lier will tell you the wrong path so you should take the other one

Second one asking a question to both:
Pick a road and ask, “Will the other guy tell me that this is the right road to take to get to town?” If it’s the right road and you ask the truth teller, he’ll know that the liar will say no, and thus say no. If you ask the liar, he’ll know that the truth teller would says yes, so he’ll lie and say no. If the road was the wrong road to take, the truth teller will know that the liar would says yes, and thus say yes. If you ask the liar, he’ll know that the truth teller would say no, so he’ll lie and say yes.

I tried to answer each one to come up with a good answer..

Well since its my best guess, I will guess... Time!

 

I'd have to guess "tomorrow" -- tomorrow is never in the past, will always be in the future, and yet people live and breathe to make it to the next day. Am I correct?

There's 3 men in a resturaunt, the bill comes to £30. All 3 men put £10 together to make the £30. The waiter comes and tells them that theres been a mistake and the total price is £25 not £30. The waiter gives all 3 men £1 back and keeps £2 herself.

All 3 men pay £9 £9 x 3 = £27
The waiter keeps £2 £27 + £2 = £29

Where did the other £1 go?

Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 22nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

Ignore nicks, and Gall. Theres a couple of answers. Maybe the place was burnt down and the 22nd floor was on the ground, or he was a window cleaner.

ok the one about what follows close behind is not mind.. its shadow.. now the money one-- There is no missing dollar. $30 is the original price of the room... thirty minus 3 (each man gets one dollar back) plus the two that she kept is equal to $25... And jack is a window washer and opened the window and climbed back into the building---BTW language is the third word
