A Hearty To Hello To You All!

Hey, my name is Matthew, but on Sythe you can call me Antchak as I go by it in real life as well (a nickname that I have no idea how it was invented, and for those that don't know its pronounced ann-chak ((a lot of people pronounce it ant-chak and think my name has something to do with ants lol)) ) I'm currently 27 and I run a software company. I've been playing Runescape since before Runescape 2 (yep, I'm a grizzled ancient :p ) legit (I really do hate botting, it ruins the game). I currently have 3 main Runescape accounts that I play on, Sallenx7 level 135, Antchak Level 102 (My favourite, no idea why), and Phd281 Level 103. I have several skillers and Free to play pkers.

So far I really enjoy these forums. The community is pretty awesome and I'm pretty sure I haven't made any enemies. I'm Australian but I have currently taken up residence in Canada. I consider myself approachable, cynical, witty and sarcastic, intelligent, and somewhat-nihilistic. Due to some of these traits I do not form friends in real life as easily as some people do, but when I do they are friends for life. My avatar is almost exactly (I MEAN EXACTLY, I found it weird because I have a scar exactly like that but on the other eye) what I look like in real life. I am 6 foot 6, 225 pounds, and (at least I think I am) quite strong. I am hetero-sexual (straight) and I seem to form relationships with women much more easily then I do with men (Partly due to the fact that I find hanging out/going home with an attractive, witty, intelligent woman far more appealing than going out with for a beer with the mates, although I do this a lot too :p ). I am very "classy" in the sense that I don't wear baggy shirts or jeans. I am very fond of my suits, cologne, and cashmere sweaters on business days. However, on weekends I prefer a pair of nice, proper fitting jeans and a cashmere sweater (Hard to find my size for anything though, have to have everything tailored lol).

Lately I don't play RS that much as I am writing a lot of software for clients (I am the CEO of my company but also the only employee). Actually its not so bad anymore, as I spent 5 years writing software modules for a specific type of industry. Now I solely do work for that industry category, and when I quote a job for, say $750, 000 and 7 months I really just modify the modules in the time of a week or two and get to relax for 6 months. However, the 5 years I spent writing modules, I was nearly broke, as I had spent all my money on a Doctrine in computer software. The only thing that kept me going was my girlfriends (I only date girls that are intelligent as well as attractive, I cannot stand hot dumb girls). I honestly thought I would fail but by some miracle I succeeded.

    Enough of my history.

Favourite Music: Hmm, this is one of those impossible questions because I don't like all the songs from any bands, rather I have several songs from many bands. Some of my preferred bands are: Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Aussie Bands that you don't know, Linkin Park, Killswitch Engage, Many Old rock bands, Megadeth, and many more.

Favourite Book: I do a lot of reading, but my favourite book is Seven Deadly Wonders, by Matthew Reilly. I love the thrill of the book, but I mostly like the book because it has a lot of Ancient Egyptian history in it, which has always intrigued me (along with Ancient Greek).

Favourite PC Game: World of Warcraft, no question. I have a 70 T6 priest (or did, working on 80 and T9 since the new exp), and multiple other 70's. RS was good for a bit, but I got bored of the clicking etc. However, I joined Sythe to spill some of my knowledge and experience in the Runescape category to future players.

Favourite Console Game: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've always been a big Zelda series fan. With the exception of the Wind Waker and The Phantom Hourglass, I like every other Zelda game (except that stupid gameboy one).

Favourtie Modern Console Game: Hmmm, I for single player I really loved Halo for its compelling storyline plus its amazing gameplay. Another of my favourite single player games is Assassin's Creed. Many people find it repetitve and meticulous but I loved the realism (at least some of the game was realistic, some of it was ridiculous i.e The dives off 300 foot towers into hay). For multiplayer, Gears of War (1 and 2) no question. Halo 3 not far behind.

Favourite Console: X-Box 360. This is such an old argument but seriously the PS3 is shit. I had one; most of the games suck, the live sucks, the system is slow, the system is expensive, etc. There are no advantages, although the system is good, it is terrible next to competing systems. Personally, I would rather have a GameCube, at least I could play Super Smash Brothers Melee (epic game). Wii is surprisingly good.

Physical Life: I race mountain bikes in free riding nationally and I used to be a national swimmer. I lift a lot of weights (I have a lot of free time, lot of time for games and a lot of time for exercise) and also play a lot of sports for fun.

    IQ: 173

Why I Joined Sythe: Actually it was because I was bored. But now that I'm here its nice to contribute to the online gaming community, and know people did things that they couldn't have done without you, or have been actively helped by you. I contribute by writing the best guides I can, and I will continue to do so, because it is such a great feeling when people say "Thanks you helped me out" and they say it over and over. Helping other people is pretty important to me as I am modest philanthropist, but also because I like when others benefit from my work. Nothing better than free stuff.

Thanks mates, that's all I can really think of to introduce myself. I hope that I can build [friendships] with all off you.
