Team Concept

What if you and like 4 friends did everything together. Kindov like pking in rs. One mage one ranger, etc. Those 5 people have all the abilities to overcome challenges and stuff, but without one, it is hopeless. They share items, gold, experience. They are connected together to get everything as a squad. Certain doors need opening by each specialty doing something to open up the door, you need to stun certain monsters with magic and then shoot them with a bow. Stuff like that. It would also be a good idea to even be connected outside of quests and stuff.

//While in Combat//

The ranger starts shooting arrows while the combat rushes towards them, the wizard can then either assist in the attack, enhance the rangers arrows, or shield the combat. Defending or increase the attack of the others will lower the wizards defenses. The changeling can then transform into whatever animal is available and assist in the attack or use the environment to his advantage to manipulate the battle. The engineer can defend the others while they are attacking.

//Getting past obstacles//

Locked door. The wizard lights a torch on fire, the ranger then needs to shoot the arrow through the fire and into a block of ice that contains a key or button or whatever.
River. Changeling jumps across, and chops down a tree. Wizard pulls it towards them. Combat then uses strength to mount it and make a bridge
Broken bridge. Changeling gets materials. Engineer fixes the bridge.

These are just examples on what is possible. Obviously these exact specialties are changeable.
