Mage/Melee training at Stealing Creation.

Since Jagex nerfed Thieving in Stealing creation, I decided to think of a new way to use that minigame to train other skills.
Those skills are Magic and Melee (Attack, Strength, Defense)...
I came up with something when Nercychlidae said he's using 'HEAL GROUP' spell to train magic with friend, and that it's kind of good xp even tho it's halved from 124xp to 62xp in that minigame..
So here is a basic pic (made in paint ) of the magic and combat training using people who heal group (your friends obviously).

Melee: (I used my 90 strength for max hit)


As you can see, they have VERY high attack bonus and pretty good strength, so with strength, attack potions and prayer you should max hit very often, nearly every hit.. Having in mind that you and friend don't wear any armour so you hit more often.

Tactic:


What happens here is very simple. Heal group spell heals people who are on your team and are 3x3 from the caster, reducing 75% of your hitpoints at the same time and then the other Healer can heal you, and repeat.
When they're doing that, 2 or more melee'ers fighting with Class-4 or 5 weapons, strength potions and using prayer (piety or what ever) and gaining Combat XP.
What's so good is that the melee'ers get healed, because they stand 3x3 from healers (Heal group) and Since the Weapons have very high Attack and Strength bonus and when your'e using strength potions and prayer too, the XP should be very good.
So basically the Healers are training magic, they're not just healing for nothing but for Lots of Magic xp and the melee fighters get lots of melee xp and basically have 'UNLIMITED' Hp


Now this is for mage:


These staves have huge attack bonus too, and with prayer or even without it, you would max hit very often.
There is a list of good single-target spells to use (blood and ice blitz)...
The Heal group spell on lunar spell book that is required to be used by 4 people if you use these methods isn't worthless! It is actually one of the best ways to train magic in Stealing Creation minigame because it gives 124/2 xp in minigame, and lots of people use it to train magic for free and for lots of xp..
one disadvantage is that you need high magic lvl for it ;/

Magic tactics:


That's pretty same as with melee but the fighters just use a Single Target Ancient spell like Ice blitz or Blood blitz or what ever.
Everything else is same but they just gain magic and hp xp too instead of melee.

CURRENTLY THINKING OF A WAY TO TRAIN WITH HEALERS AND USING MULTI TARGET ATTACKS (BARRAGES RO BURSTS).
CAN'T THINK OF ONE YET.. ;/

I HAVEN'T TESTED THEM YET, JUST DREW THESE SIMPLE PICS OF WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE, SO I DON'T KNOW XP RATES.
I JUST KNOW THAT IT SHOULD WORK, HEAL OTHER DOES WORK BECAUSE PEOPLE DO IT AND I'VE BEEN INFORMED THAT IT DOES WORK...

IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO TEST THAT AND TELL ME IF IT WORKS I'D BE GLAD, IF NOT THEN I'LL JUST TEST IT MYSELF LATER.


WHAT'S SP GOOD ABOUT TRAINING IN THERE EXCLUDING THE HEALING THING IS THAT WEAPONS IN THERE, ESPECIALLY CLASS-4 AND CLASS-5 ONES ARE VERY POWERFUL WITH LOT OF ATTACK AND STRENGTH BONUS + IF YOU USE POTIONS AND PRAYER, ALL THE HITS SHOULD BE HIGH.
FOR MAGE IT'S VERY GOOD TOO, CLASS-5 STAFF GOT 225+ MAGIC ATTACK BONUS AND IF YOU USE MAGIC POTION AND PRAYER TOO, NEARLY EVERY HIT WOULD BE SPELL'S MAX HIT LOL.

 

This looks interesting! I might try this. I haven't been able to play this minigame very well (training-wise) maybe this will be the change I need.

 

nvm lol doesn't work.. The heal group shares hp.. someone will sooner or later ran out of hp :s

Healing each other with heal group does work and is good magic training but i just don't think this thing i posted with melee or ancients will work..

ONE OF THE BEST WAYS IS LV4 DAGGER OR LV5.....

my method.....

1. get runes for ice blitz/barrage/burst
2. Get invent as follows.....

4 prayer potions (3) or 3 (4)
Mage set.. lv4+ for best results...
Chaps and Hard top.
Super attack
Super strength
Energy potion
AND A FAMILIAR!!! <--- i cant stress how much this helps !!
It only helps because u can store half ur runes it in. So those silly theivs cant nick all of em
Dagger <--- magical!
And a staff if u want
The rest being food lv4 prefered

First weild mage set and dagger. Then drink super str and super att. Then turn on ur pray either piety/chav/ultimate str and att. Then Blitz someone then start attacking with dagger!. I can hit 28 with a dagger!!!! and its super fast!!!. To kill a mager, wear hide top and bottom mage pray and piety. Then start atting them, they wont hit on you and you will ko them hard.
