Working on stocks..

Ok since my last sig completely failed and it wasnt very good ive decided to work on stocks for abit..
Tell me how this is...

1st Attempt:

With this one i took on Bbri's advice and edited the text (slightly tilting it, changing the colour and lowering the opacity) and i also put it some very light strokes of light coming out of the window.

Its good for a first timer.

Try to add more effects though than just colour manips.

I love what you have done with the window light. There was someone here a while back who's whole style was mainly amplifying the light source, Vision probably remembers who, he pointed it out.

The text, I would probably darken some and maybe reposition.

 

I think it looks pretty good but I do not like how the text is so 'out there' I think it stands out a little to much, other that that I like it! I hope your planning on doing what The Dark said and adding some more stuff to it! Can't wait to see it!

 

Thanks, any ideas where i could reposition the text? I want it to be quite near the focal (window) to not drag your eye away from it but i also dont want it to be far away but like 30% opacity.. Any ideas? When i do the orbs of light and smog and stuff i'll do the text aswell.

Thanks, i know what you mean i just relised i had it quite high opacity so i'll lower it and maybe reposition it.. Dunno, thanks anyway

 

Maybe tilt it a little so it's parallel to the bottom of the windowsill(minute detail), fiddle with the opacity some, and change the color to have a little tint of yellow. I'd probably try that, although I'm not great at text really. I usually just play with it until I get something to my liking.

 

WoW thats way better then what I can do...

Looks good when you shaded it and made it look darker makes it blend better.

 

Kk, ill try that i'll also add like a 'torch' effect to come out of the window to see what its like in the way i will put the text.. Thanks

I really like it. Windows looks really great, maybe add some other colours/effects? ;p
