New Mod - Scammers

Do you notice that their are a lot of Ban Evaders just roaming Sythe, and a lot of new accounts made daily? I can assure you that more than 50% of the accounts made from day-to-day are simply those who are Ban Evading, and some on Sythe to scam others.

My proposal:

Create a New Mod position to monitor all of these new accounts created.
-When created, the Mod gets a PM on Sythe or a Message to their E-mail.

Title of the Selected Moderator?
-"Stealth Mod"
--Stealth Mod would be an appropriate name, in my opinion, for to find those sneaky scammers.

With this implemented, there may be a HUGE reduction of the scammers on Sythe.

If a New Mod is not implemented, then there should be an existant Moderator / Admin to keep track of this, and act upon each one. I can say that I strongly believe in such a notion, and now ask you all as a Community for your everlasting support.

eh, it seems like a good idea, but who would really want to stay on all day just to monitor new accounts made?

besides, whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

yeah besides of what TJ said anyways. there around 3 people. who take care of the scammers section anyways.

 

This thread was not created to talk about the Scammer Section being dealt with. Everyone knows that it is dealt with, but I was proposing that a Mod deal with all the Accounts created on Sythe daily. This way, Ban Evaders will be gone immediately with a simple IP check.

Quick to do, and then Scammers won't even get a chance to even post.

Too bad it's on the "Do not suggest list" though.

3. I said that I would not want to be a Mod until 2+ years down the road.
4. What relevance does your post have to this Thread?

i like the idea kindof but it kinda sounds like you just want a staff position and are stting yourself up for this

I was suggestion that someone be appointed to become a Stealth Mod.

There are a lot of Ban Evaders on the site, and I am hoping that a lot of them be dealt with.

Yeah, like it's right on the do not suggest list, and you suggested it. All you had to do was read a sticky. Why would you just start suggesting before reading stickies, are you crazy?
