How not to get scammed with people selling names!

THE GUIDE TO BUYING A NAME!​

I just made this thread to help people so they don't get scammed by someone selling amazing names with "Proof!" Here is a little example of a way you could get scammed:

Obviously i don't own it and i just used CHEATENGINE not edited the picture because that would be almost imposable(I am not going to tell anyone anymore people will use it to scam).

OK here is some ways to prevent getting scammed like this:

1) Check the high scores(http://hiscore.runescape.com/hiscores.ws) and see if the player has any in prayer if so see if that matches with the picture he posted (if there are stats in it).

2) The best way is to ask them to meet in game, if they say no don't bother even looking at buying from them because you know it's a scam.

3) Ask for some contact details like if they can send a email to you from there email address(Great for if they have hacked the persons MSN or sythe) especially with accounts that are worth alot and cost heaps of $$!

4) If you are buying strait from there MSN it always helps to search there MSN in google(http://google.com) or in sythe search (http://sythe.org/search.php). If they have low posts or have almost no vouches i find that with most scammers that i have searched there MSN's they are either banned from sythe or reported as a scammer somewhere else.

This guide would also work for people buying other accounts
