IF (but won't happen) they do make it use reflection they won't be copying SCAR (more SRL, even more BenLand100) he didn't make reflection or anything like that.

I like how you say probably just a few more functions. :p RSBot 2 will pretty much be a whole new bot. Multiple autoing tabs (like iBot pro), a new scripting engine, a brand new bot core pretty much, it will be a LOT I mean a BIG LOT changed.

You are correct for the most part. With SMART supporting reflection you have the ability of autoing in Java with SCAR. Even though RSBot is in Java syntax than using it in SCAR.

Well that seems like it will be even more lag.. cause as you all know, u can auto with multiple smarts as long as they are in different worlds..

RSBot2 Lags just because of the way it works.. unless this is a completely new bot (why call it rsbot 2?), it will be even worse when it comes to efficiency.

    Scar and RSBot

Only problem is that, I am not very familiar with Scar and I have never been able to get Scar to work for long. Yet alone set it up correctly.
I also have to update it frequently and I'm not sure if the author of the script made a good script so I am constantly afraid it will just ban my account.
I do realize the potential SCar has over RSBot, but I am not knowledgeable enough in scripting to utilize it.

EDIT: I noticed that you needed a pin in your signature Jethr0x. I recommended you to a guy who sells pins (I'm pretty sure he is legit); he might pm you soon. =)

But didn't somebody else have reflection before SCAR did? I'm not sure I maybe wrong, but I thought I heard somewhere that a different program reflects the client and that was before SCAR came out with it, when reflection was still just discussion on slr-forums, but I'm not sure so please don't flame me.

I believe iBot/neXus has always used reflection along with color-based scripting also, atleast for their walking they do. That bot is very different though.

Also, the addon to SRL/SCAR made by solarwind used reflection, Kyab.

    Scar and RSBot

I think that RSBot is better.

    Reasons:

    1)Minimizable.
2)More accurate(No more hovering the mouse over every kind of tree until it reads the text for 'oak')
    3)Faster
    4)More reliable
5)Uses less CPU (RSBot on low CPU setting uses about 20% of my cpu, and scar uses about 80%)
    6)Easier to script

EDIT: I have used both scar and RSBot for a long time... so i know the pros and cons of both...

    Scar and RSBot

    1)SCAR is minimizable
2)A good script can be just as accurate, and if you use reflection it is dead on balls accurate
    3)You are totally wrong
    4)Use a non-noob script ;)
5)Wrong on this one, have SMART refresh bar lower and it uses about 15% cpu per SCAR
    6)yes at the beginning

I have used both of them longer than you and more in-depth than you ;).

That is plain out just the stupid thing I have ever heard. RSBot edits the client which almost means guaranteed ban. SCAR you can abuse many more hours out of before getting banned.

Both of you learn your stuff.

I gotta admit scars powerful if used properly
but I prefer the simplicity of RSbot.

Scar Has more scripts thn Rsbot. RSbot is easy to use, SCar is a little bit more complicated.

RSBOT: it uses BCEL to modify the client, it doesn't use reflection in any kind!

    Scar and RSBot

    1. SCAR has been minimizeable before rsbot was even out.
    2. SCAR uses reflection... accurate and more humanlike than rsbot.
    3. Faster.
    4. WAY more reliable than rsbot, SCAR is rarely down.
    5. SCAR uses 1/3 of the CPU that rsbot does.
    6. Easy to script if you're not an idiot.
    7. You dont know what ur talking about.

colorbot? lol... maybe 5 years ago.

Which is very bad.. I cant tell which side you are on with that comment.

@ Kanoy. Like i said.. people are not educated in both bots to make a good, and accurate choice.

no i have never used scar and it is exacally the reason i don't like it. ITS NOT MAC/LINUX COMPATIBLE. RSBot on the other hand is.

I don't think anyone said it used reflection at all, we (well atleast I) know that it uses BCEL to modify the client.

SCAR is a colorbot...and always has been

Freddy is working on that ;). It is not his highest priority but he does have a project to make a version of SCAR that is multi-platformed.

    Scar and RSBot

He put it pretty well and I must agree with that.

I voted SCAR, though I can script in RSBot and not SCAR. SCAR may take a bit to understand how to get it running, but as far as ban rates it rapes RSBot. RSBot makes it easy to do things, but SCAR is more efficient. RSBot is also full of leechers and noobs looking for a quick way to do things, whereas SRL has dedicated members.

    SCAR LOOPS ACCOUNTS Owned.
