Always proof read your guides. This has a few handy tips on what to do, and what not to do regarding paypal. As david493 said, you should expand this guide with other payment methods such as WU/Mail to really cover all preventions on "how not to be scammed". I also think Sythe Official MM's should be added somewhere in this guide, they provide an even greater chance of not being scammed. Overall you have made quite a sufficient guide, and I hope you expand on it, in future.

 

Yes, I plan on adding many more things to it and proofreading it; just not enough time today.

Good guide, well set out and readable.
I never knew how to claim and cancel so thanks a ton for that.
Improvements you could make would just be what The Dark said, proof reading but all in all a good guide.

what if they charge back for unauthorised access? ie. pay you using a library computer then go on their own pc and file a report.

 

Then you fight back reasonably in a dispute. One time someone did that, and I won because I explained to them how it was "gaming services" and could not be refunded, and he pasted that into the payment box too, and in the claim & cancel.

Once he claims and cancel, and even manages to claim again (not sure if you can) it won't be as "powerful" as the last claim. Usually when they're verified they're considered more responsible too, and PayPal isn't a joke so they do IP checks and everything.

PayPal blocked my credit card because they found out i was under 18.
