    Introduction to basic math

    Imaginary numbers are numbers that are not real such as the square root of -1. This number is written as I
    so...
    square root of -1=i
    So if you were to square i than you would get -1
    Lets say the problem is i^30
    progression
    (i^2)^15
    (-1)^15
    1=final answer
    It gets more complicated:Lets say you have -8i^3(6i^60) the progression would be:
    -48i^63
    -48(i^4)*15*i^3
    -48(1)^15
    -48*i^3
    -48*-1*i
    48i=final answer

    You know what real numbers are (I hope)
    PS:I think this guides sort of useless, but I guess i'm wrong. Seen lots of positive feedback.

    Introduction to basic math

    As said before, it's not going to describe them. If you didn't notice, ths guide is Introduction to BASIC math, not Introduction to Calculus.

    If you want the rediculous job of explaining integrals over a forum, by all means do so in another guide. Please read the title next time though...

    I have to also disagree with the "it is a useless forum guide" comment. This is by far one of the more in depth guides on sythe and it is educational. Useful is a little bit more accurate.

    Introduction to basic math

    This is pretty basic stuff, remember this in 4th and 5th. I guess it's good for the 12 year olds who suck at math. Although, I am reminded of the properties of math. Thanks, lol. Nice, but simple. Maybe you should make some calculus guides? (Or trig) That would be nice. ;D

    Introduction to basic math

    Or you could swap the p for a b so it becomes bedmas (b = brackets)
    Decent guide.. you should go into graphing equations some more so like
    y = mx+b and all that jazz

    This guide is pretty shitty, I learned all this before entering High school.

    I'll be looking for the update.

    Last couple paragraphs impossible to read unless you highlight the text.

    Don't overdue it.

    5/10.

    Introduction to basic math

    I thought I was the only one with this clever method.. :p

    Anyways. What's the point of teaching 8th grade math over the internet? No one is honestly going to read this and say "Oh, I learned something here." legitimately. Example, your average spammer would read this guide and post "Oh wow, I sure did learn a lot here! Vouch!!!111shift1!" But he never really did.

    You could of invested your time into something that would actually matter.
