my computer broke i think

when ever i turn it on it repeats the boot thing, it goes up to the splash screen then it turns blue to a sec and repeats the bootup

 

Are you using Vista? If you are get SP1 if you haven't already. Something like this happens to me alot and I just keep rebooting computer until it works..

It's okay after it reboots though

 

I have the same problem on my old computer, but we just left it all messed up since noone uses it anymore, just call someone from where you bought it or just anyone that knows computers, I'm sure they'd know how to fix it.

I'm sure you have a different problem, his problem is that it won't go into the account login screen, it just keeps rebooting so he can't get on it.

 

Lool I like how you all are talking about vista when he said he has xp sp2.

Try to remember what the last thing you did before this problem started.

 

Well, What I would do is turn it off and try again or turn it off wait a while let it cool off and then try again.

 

Reformat your computer

Make sure you have a Reformatting disk in your computer, Turn your computer on and click on f12 boot the disk from the start, WIPE your C drive and install a new fresh copy, press on Setup in NTFS (Quick)

 

Boot it in safe mode and run system restore.

 

Yeah, do this.

Failing that, put your hard drive into another computer as a slave drive, get any important data off it, format and reinstall your OS.

 

Write down the error code it gives you and I can help you fix it via safemode.

Yes, You need to reformat. If you have PC Angel, Then your in 100% guarantee that you will get it back to normal; if you have a hard drive still. This happens because of certain sights you visit, they usually come from pop ups.. when you click the close button it installs a "Tracking" Device.. known as the boot log, which restarts your computer over and over. Good luck.

EDIT: If you dont have the xp disc.. push "r" on the bootup over and over intil it reaches a screen.. called PC Angel. It reformats
your Hard drive.
