What prayer lvl for my pure?

hey guys im making a dds pure, just wana know what prayer i should get? im gunna hav it 60 attack 80 str and ...prayer but no others. (also these are quintuplets for pvp and possibly bh)

What are your mage / ranged levels going to be? Are they going to be used?

You'll end up deciding between 31, 43 or 52 prayer though. Pick which best suits you; are you actually going to USE smite?

 

Smite is probably the best option. But as Tgump said, your gonna have to actually use the damn thing.

 

IMO I think smite is useless in PVP, I think the max you should go for is 43 (or 44 for ranged), you should probably get 25/31 or leave it for now.

 

no smite needed. 31 pray is enough

 

personally id go 31, personly i think smite is less usefull now.

also consider 13 pray. some very good pkers stayed 13 pray. although it was ftp i think it could be applied to p2p.

to stay over 75k you dont want to pray your scim anyway so its a good option. would definetly last the whole fight so dont worry about that.

priest in peril gets you to 11 so you can still do dt and experiments.

i wouldn't go 52 if i was only getting 80 str.

re-consider these stats for bh, you will have a hard time in med crator.

 

dude 43 prayer is like beautiful. Protect against Melee. but see you have to

exchange combat levels for protect. ANd I dunno if it's even that useful now cuz ppl are making mage and archer pures these days.

 

70att/80str+ and 31 pray can do miracles at pvp/bounty

 

I'd say start off with 31, get your Rfd and Dt quests out of the way for prayer xp.

 

well im ruling out smite, i dont think id use it or could be bothered getting it to 52, im really deciding between 43 and 31. ill be mostly pvp but alot of bounty when my nates arent on, so 43?????

 

1 prayer.
1. Don't need prayer pots, so ypu survive longer in PvP worlds(hotspot's)
2. can stay on same cb lvl longer(becouse it takes more exp per lvl to get).
3. look's alot better having 80 st'r, and it also is better to pot up with then having like 65 str+prayer.
4. will also be good in f2p!

 

idk, 31 prayer does give you the 15% increase

Say you use a rune scimmy, nothing else, no other str bonus.
Say you have 80 str, 31 prayer you hit 18
but if you keep your prayer at 1 you hit 16

Say you have 88 str, 1 prayer then you hit 18


You need to decide what you would rather get, 88 str or 31 prayer.

Take note if you get 88 str and keep prayer at lvl 1 you will be one combat level lower then having 80 str and 31 prayer.

 

either 1, 31 or 52. 31 is best for pking, 52 is good for bh etc, 1 is good for looks/staking

what about 43? and is it worth getting 32 mage for bounty locate?

 

32 mage shouldnt affect your cb level if your strength is higher then it.
