If I were to purchase services, isn't it account sharing and this there's a chance that years later, someone can just use account recovery with the old account password and email address to recover the account?

Account sharing is not against the rules anymore. And yes, there is a really small chance of recovery. The more passwords you change on the account the less chance of recovery. With the first password or an early password there is a bit more chance, but still really low.

 

A single password won’t be enough to recover an account

 

I would change the password multiple times over the years to make it harder for the previous user to get access update it with every single security setting on the gmail/osrs account i would also suggest changing the name of the account doing everything possible to make the account look completely different futhermore i would suggest using a pin on your bank incase it does get recovered you have 7 days to try sort something out
