    School allowed to do this?!

Is it fair? Of course not. Is it legal? YES. The entire class may be forced to take the responsibility for the entire class. However, what you could do, if you actually know you did well, is complain to the board of education.

You could bring up the point like "how could I have cheated off someone, if I'm the only one with this grade?" But hate to break it to ya, it's perfectly legal. I was reading somewhere that an entire school was disqualified from the MCAS (meaning EVERYBODY had to retake it the next year) because of several instances where TXT messaging was used to cheat.

Talk to the principal - he probably won't do anything. Then, ask for a meeting with the Board of Educators, and hopefully it will be granted. I strongly doubt that they'll make EVERYBODY fail because of one kid. Or the kid will cave in.

Not fair to make whole class suffer because of a few cheaters.

Go to the principal, as others have stated. You shouldn't get accused of something you didn't do.. If the principal doesn't do anything write a complaint to the board of education (as someone stated, I think), once you do that something will be done.

Ya they can do that, you could try and complain but it propoly won't do any good. But i'v gotten out of a lot of things at school just by arguing with them, if your gonna try and fight it be stubborn about it.

What kind of country do you live in that makes you sign something like that? If they were smart they would have scheduled the test on another day.

It's simple, first go to principal and tell him of your complaint, if he denies and refuses to fix the problem, get your parents involved and go to school bored.

Do you honestly let your school system treat you like this? I'd make sure the fuckers pay before they did something like this, last month they changed the grading system and we didn't like it. We had 250 people outside of one of our High schools throwing rocks at school cars and protesting.

That is not legal to do as a teacher. Your teacher has no right as she has no proof.

    Take that to your principal.

I'd go and argue it through.

They are only allowed to do that when they have substantial evidence that much of the class cheated, or if an answer book was stolen.

That can't be allowed. The teacher probably did it just to prove a point, and I'm sure that you'll get your legit test score. If not, talk to the principal

i didn't read all of the replies, but i'd suggest talking to the dean and requesting to be able to take a retest to prove you actually knew what was o nthe test and didn't cheat
