141 Infernal Capes Removed, 705 Total

How many bans are because people didnt even attempt the inferno before buying a cape?

4+ attempts and a so called "safe method" with the portforward lmao Via @Tweeter

 

Literally had someone I know come over to my house for the cape 2 days ago (to use my router etc). guess thats the safest way unless jagex is looking at me through my webcam LOL

 

Lost my cape using proxy method. Had it for months so was kinda confused when I got banned.

 

Honestly seems like they only hit proxy/portforward capes, and the obvious ones like simple acc share (no precautions).
Haven't seen any reports of TeamView bans whatsoever.

Depends on your definition of "safe" and what exactly you are referring to.
If you mean getting a cape through TeamView/GoToMyPC/etc. then yes, that is considered safe.

But "safe" is not a 100% guarantee that you're golden, who knows maybe they find a way to bust these capes in the future, and as a result retroactively removes all capes obtained this way. I don't personally see how that would ever happen though, but who knows. But so far it does seem to be gg as nobody has really reported getting banned for a Teamview'ed cape, without also having also done other stupid stuff or having a history of getting Infernal capes via less "safe" methods and then getting future Teamview capes removed as a result. If you got caught in the past, your account is flagged and your future capes are likely going to be removed too. They removed all these "repeat" capes in the latest wave, even if you got the latest cape 100% legit.

a friend of mine had his done on a VPN and got it removed.... the poor soul

 

the removed 'repeat' capes, were those that were obtained on task after getting first KC via illegitimate means. this is because doing it on task is obv easier. they didn't remove capes from anyone who did them legit after a first ban. tyran clarified it later, cos many people misunderstood

I got banned first time from a shitty port forward cape, took no risks this time and got a friend over to do it in my house, using my literal router. hoping that that's enough lool

 

i lost my cape after 3 month , so sad

 

what method did you use? teamviwer? or proxy/portforward/vpn?

hmm, any clue why? original owner? sketchy cape service provider? previous failed attempts? or previous cape removal? this is strange

Has there been any bans since the last update in here?

 

I got my cape about a week ago and used Parsec. I also attempted the inferno myself about 5-6 times and got to wave 48 before i purchased.

 

I dont even think previous attempts matter. I know some cape services which actually traded in the fire capes on low level pures before completing infernos and no bans were given

 

I've never had any issues or any removed and I've always used @Pink Clay services. Highly recommended.
