that doesn't fucking matter, if you are designing a webpage, it has to be designed in the mockup as close as possible to how it would be if it was coded... this means... shock horror! WEB FONTS.

Come on, don't be like this, A webdesign contest needs to be as accurate as possible.

You could've figured out yourself that the Fonts matched the logo and could of been used in various ways.

And you are webdesigning something therefore you are a webdesigner at the moment you are making it.

 

1. You are designing for the web, so you must stick by its limitations, the most basic being that for body text a web-safe font must be used.

2. they were there so the logo could be manipulated, I hoped you'd use initiative and choose other, better fonts for other things.

3. A web font is a font that is present on the majority of operating systems, the most common are:
Arial (Helvetica), Times New Roman(Times), Georgia, Tahoma

1. No-one is expecting you to code, but it would be smart to google for some limitations

2. Use your own initiative and design sense

I did what I thought was a half decent job and it obviously wasn't so just leave it and close the thread.

 

All people tried to explain you is to change the Lorem Ipsum text into Arial, this is because some older people can't read some specific fonts.

If you are to lazy to do this then maybe you shouldn't enter.

It's not to critise your work but to help you improve, some of the people who replied to your design make lots of money with website designs and the only thing they are really trying to do is help you.

 

This is a graphic mockup, therefore I am not planning to code, therefore why do you all keep going on about WEB FONTS, It doesn't matter!

lolwebfont. Try century gothic. And I see your point box that people are not really gonna vote because of your webfont but you should treat this not as a contest entry but as a real site. So try to use webfonts.

 

Just leave it, it doesn't matter.

 

Oh you fucking pussy, we try to give you some advice to better your chances in the contest and improve the WEB design, and you disregard it and have a sulk.

Because it DOES matter, you are designing something intended for web, so the limitations still apply, you wouldn't design a business card the size of a poster, because size is a limitation.

If you can't handle advice from those that know what they're talking about, don't bother posting.
