Do jagex wipe accounts?

So yesterday at like 10 pm i bought 80m from bogla,i log on this morning and the gp is gone,however im 100% sure nobody was on the account,as its authed and no logins were made....do jagex wipe accounts? like i literally doubt it as they would most likely ban me but wtf?

 

Potentially misconduct from a Jmod Like in the case of Mod Jed?

When my friend got his infernal cape removed, jamflex also wiped 100m cash that was in his inventory.

 

Are you 100% sure that the trade went through and wasn't declined at the last second?
Happened to me couple times and didn't notice. Don't want to spew doubt but thats an option.

 

Yes I'm 100 percent sure,I had it in my inv as I had 150m on my main i was like meh i wont keep 230m one acc ill just keep it here then transfer tomorrow,woke up and the inv had everything but the cash stack,there was actually an empty spot.

Rarely, but yes. I’ve had one wiped before.

 

Wiping accounts is not a common practice anymore. They'll just issue a perm ban if they need to do that instead.

 

Doubt you have been wiped, i had it happen years ago, but haven't heard of a single case recently

I have had odd stakers unbanned which were perm banned and the gp was still on it so I doubt that jagex would wipe accounts.

 

The other day, 100M was been took from my acc (this was all of my cashpile), and I'm pretty sure that no1 logged in on it.

 

Wiping accounts doesn't seem to happen much on OSRS. However, you are correct, Gold does not just vanish.
