82 to 99 herblore?

On a budget of 45m, is it possible??

Any thoughts on how I should go about doing this? I really want 99 herblore as it is my favorite skill, it's just too expensive. So please post any ideas on how I could do this with about a 45m budget (+/- 5m)

 

Yes you can remember vials are no problem because of all the autoers

I was looking for more of what should I do to get there? What potions should I make? Should I buy all my supplies? etc.

I'm looking to do this 100% legit with no bots, so does anyone else have any other advice?

If you farm your herbs, go for it. Otherwise, I'm not to sure...

Yea the only way I could think of it is if you farm all your herbs and buy/collect seconds.

 

for vials do that humidify spell then for herbs do slayer task and hope for spectres

 

kill flesh crawlers/chaos druids for herbs, farm/humidify etc etc.

 

61-80 herb cost be 16m. It dont think you can get 92-99 on 45m unless like everyone said you farm your herbs. Which take AGGES.

Personally their are parts you can do and parts you can't.
I suggest you pay for as much as you can with that cash.
Once you run out start DIYing. It is a brilliant technique and I used to use it when I played Runescape.
Use the resources Jagex has given you.

 

99 Herblore has long been known as an expensive undertaking. This guide will introduce you to a method that will drastically reduce the amount of money you need to achieve that lovely green (and gold) cape.

The requirements for this method are quite easily achievable (except maybe getting the money sleep.gif )

15 Herblore
Shades of Mort'ton quest completed
A lot of cash (depends on what level you plan to achieve)

Starting off

Now to get down to business. Firstly, I should tell you what we're making. Many of you may have guessed already, but we're making that gem of a potion given to us in the Shades of Mort'ton quest: Serum 207. The first thing you want to do is buy ashes, tarromin and water filled vials, as these are needed to make Serum 207. The prices of these ingredients is quite cheap:

Clean taromin: 174-194gp 184mid

Vial of water: 90-100gp 95gp mid




That adds up to 291 gp per potion. Each potion gives 50 exp so it works out to 5.82 gp per experience point gained. This means that getting 99 herblore from level 15 will cost a bit over 75m. You may think that's expensive, but then I would say that you've obviously never added up the cost of 99 from other potions which can easily add up to 150m+





75m is the cheapest way from 75-99.

Could you elaborate on what DIYing is? I've never heard that term before.

 

go with im a lova for reducing cost ive used that method before and its good

 

Check the G.E for the most popular selling potion that is the cheapest to make and go for it. Make sure it gives some good Xp too.

 

10m on Toadflax seeds, 5m on vials, and the rest on 2nd's for Sara brews. Plant the seeds, and you should finish in like. 3 months.. if you do it hardcore. and than, it should come easily, and profitablaly.

 

Not possible unless you farm herbs and collect 2nds.

 

I would do that however with my budget I would need it to be roughly 4.5 gp per xp. I'm currently investigating different potions to see if there are any posibilities to make that work. Thanks for all the input so far. Any other advice is still greatly appreciated!!! Keep posting.

It would take me roughly 16,000 sara brews from 82 to 90 alone, which would take roughly 800 hours to farm that many toadflax. That hardly seems worth it with a profit of only 4.8m. In 800 hours making money at 200k/hr I would make 160M, enough to do herblore much quicker with a very very large budget. I may end up just trying to make money at 400k to 500k per hour for a few weeks so I can increase my budget and finish quicker.
