New Macroing Section

I think the section can do with some what of a makeover. Not too dramatic but I think it will bring some more life into the section.

My Proposal;
a.) Bring back the verified scripts section, the section died because it had no one to check the scripts. I'd be happy to do so and get some sort process going.

b.) Add another section "Other Scripts", scar has greater potential than just RuneScape and I'm sure with all the anti-macro updates JaGeX have implemented allot of the users have moved on to making scripts for many other games. I'm sure this section will be active also.

Although it doesn't look like this thread is being supported very well, it ain't a bad idea, though i havn't seen the Scar section being very active for awhile now :/

 

Well I agree since I am trying to get SCAR working at the moment, but maybe you can make the SCAR Help and Tutorials one section instead of two different ones.

 

Maybe have them as a sub-forums under a main one >_>

I believe that would be a good idea. The "other scripts" forum could help bring in more people to Sythe.

 

I agree, i've been trying to get swan to do this for a while

and just so u know, SRL is back up, SMART is just taking a while, since benland is the only one with the code, and he won't release to anyone... and hes "busy" with other things now.

Eh, i guess some changes will work, but seeing as SCAR is underestimated in this community, it won't significantly boost the section's popularity.

I think it might, if we get scripts for other programs/games going then popularity will increase.

I really think these changes are necessary and will benefit the entire forum greatly.

 

yeah the forum hasnt been very much used lately, i think because rsbot is becoming more reknown. but macro if ure glad to check the scripts and etc, i support you

Great ideas, SCAR needs to be brought back into focus, RSBot isn't that great it would definitely help organize, and get people motivated into SCAR.

 

You have my vote! I use to use SCAR and would hate to see it die. I'm sure it could be use for other games. For example Neopets, I've got 2 gold trophies thanks to SCAR, and that was a few weeks ago lol.

 

This isn't getting much support but the scar section is quite active and this will help.

 

A change would be nice
