Question on Port Forwarding - Not the one in No-IP, And more.

I have a question about port forwarding.
I have read the one on No-Ip.Com but i don't have the router No-Ip is talking about.
I'm not sure on how to check the version of my router but if you do, please post here.
I would also be asking for a 508 Server Cache, and probably a test source to start a server.
I'm planning to make a server called Jam-Scape.

 

look at your modem/router and it should say it somewhere otherwise casll your isp

 

u cud just try using hamachi

 

It's not very consistent isn't it? And the connecter will have to connect directly using Hamachi too.
I intend to use a No-Ip.

 

try this
register at the no ip site
download no-ip duc
go into your no ip that should be showing at the bottom of your task bar and look where it says add a no ip (or sumthing) and register one there

 

I know what do to, i'm asking for Port Forwarding, not making a new server and getting it up.
Those who have good 508 "Noob" sources please post some here so that i can use them. I will download and scan, if it has a virus, you will be dealed with accordingly.

He said Portforwarding not about ip and using No-Ip..

You could go onto www.portforward.com
Click on 'Guides', Then on the first box on the left click on 'Port Forwarding Guides by Router' (3rd one down and its in bold, not too hard to see)
Then search for your router, when you have found it click on it.
Then pick anygame i used 'Rune' the first time when i first Port Forwarded and just change the port to the default port (43594)
Follow the guide and that should be you

If you dont know what your router is.. well you cant do it then lol

Thanks Gaxx, i'm at school right now, and i saw the guides, i hope i can find the version of my router.
Well if i get to start the server and make it succesfull, and if you want to join, i'll make you an admin (If the guide helps enough.)
