My First Sig

Sup, just wondering what you guys think of my Signiture?
It's my first Photoshop'd Sig so please tell me what you think.

 

Nice for a first sig. Search on google for some good sig tut's .

 

Err i think it looks like shit. But also this isn't the right section, one of the GFX sections like the GFX showcase or something are the more correct forums for this type of stuff.

This signature is so shitty. First of all, it's in the wrong section, second of all, it's not good whatsoever. I don't understand why everyone is telling him it's "nice" because it really isn't. Follow some tuts, and learn how to make a real signature.

 

Okay, maby it's the wrong section, but for a first sig without any tut's it's a nice try.

by the way i have had no past experiance of any photoshopping whatsoever.

 

No offense (maybe a little) but I can do a better job in Paint. Even my first PhotoShop image (without any tutorials) I ended up making a nice blended image with matching text and a transparent border. It's not hard to learn PhotoShop.

 

May I ask what you were trying to go for? It looks kind of like ice but it's so pixelated I can't really tell. You generally don't want to use a pixel like font such as the one up top on something like this. Mainly, the biggest advice I can give you is to go look at some examples and tutorials. For that, I recommend gamerenders.com.

By the way, when you look at examples and tutorials, don't try to copy them but instead find out what it is you like about them and learn how that was accomplished, then you can try it!

Yes, it's pretty horrible.

Before looking at any tutorials, try experimenting with other tools and brushes.

I used to be pretty horrible like that aswell, but I've been using photoshop for only a few weeks and I've managed to make some decent art.

Just keep trying and make signatures for people for practice, they might not use it due to the horribleness of it, but hey it's practice.

my new one is in my sig now...i looked at a tut to teach me some renders and stuff...is the new one any good?

They are horrible, sorry buddy.
Instead of making a background image and sticking a render on it, paint your own background.

The pictures the tut provides look shit, but using those instructions worked out great.
