Anyone listen to older stuff here? If so, tell us what you like and give us a link or two to your favorites.

    My sort of stuff:

    Cream
    Jimi Hendrix
    Humble Pie
    Led Zeppelin

    And lots more.

Some favorite tracks are the Little Wing extended instrumental version by Hendrix and this one by Cream:

Led Zeppelin. Deep Purple. Black Sabbath. Iron Maiden. Some (but not much) of The Who. And Jimi/Clapton both kick ass.

Assuming you're referring to Classic Rock:

The Who, Queen, Beatles, Eagles, and a few 80's-era bands like Guns N' Roses.

I hate when people define things as "old music". What's old about it? Was it played on repeat 24/7 for the past month on every radio station and tv show you saw?

All I have to say is don't limit your listened to said "classic rock". I made that mistake when I was like 9? Maybe 10-13.

It's kind of a hard genre to "discuss" and say "we like" because most people that know a few bands in the genre, know every band. Am I making sense? Probably not.

I don't like old bands, i only listen to bands that have produced at least one album in 2000 onwards.

That is probably the stupidest thing I have heard anyone say. Chances are, all the albums before 2000 were better than the ones after. Granted, yes their were great albums after 2000 but who do you think inspired most of them? The music they used to listen too when they were younger. AKA before 2000

That's not quite true...some artists change music styles and whatever, and other people just like the sound. But yeah, I do agree that listening to music ONLY because of the time period is a bit strange :S
