leuphoria scammed me

Amount scammed: $134 Canadian
How they scammed:
I assumed the email on the account ,was the orignal email and my account got frozen for it's protection and it isn't it and I can't claim it back now .

I tried to talk to her to get a compromise .
I either wan't my money back or something that is equal to what I bought.
She did not say ,she had access to the original email and I thought the email on the account was it .
I am on a pention.

You knew the risks associated with not knowing anything about the email. Neither did you ask if the current email was the original

I dont see a single PM in our correspondence of you asking about that. All I told you was that I didnt have access to the original email, in an attempt to educate your purchase. Its not my fault if you assumed something you probably should have asked about.

 

I asked if you have access to the email.
There is no responce in the pm saying you didn't have access to the orignal email.
It shows under the site.You can't remove something once it is on the internet and it is on this site.They have a way to check for messages that have been deleted.
The mods can see our conversion on the site...please don't lie.

I don't know how to word this any better. This kid is trying to accuse me of misadvertising my goods because they didn't ask a critical question before buying, which I would have answered if I knew they would ask. But I didn't. Their lack of preparation is not my responsibility.

Either way, there is no scam taking place - the account is frozen and that is due to the buyer's negligence; the onus and liability falls on them. Being able to help retrieve the account is not a service I provide.

 

I have something to say about this to the mods, this girl, Princess Someone, already got Jwallz unfairly frozen from here in may (scammed by Jwallz) and she's playing the same tricks and this time on leuphoria.

Everyone who buys stuff on neopets, legit or not, know that they have to be super careful because how a basic account would have an super rare expensive item if not from buying off site? or even if you buy the account, you have to be careful with the proxies (reason why she got Jwallz frozen). Which will definetly get your acc frozen. That's why the sythe has 3 pinned posts on how to act with bought items on the neopets section.

This girl in particular, is well known as (removed), i guess this is the 8th time I see her getting an account frozen and whining because she exposed all of it in public boards on the game and making herself the center of the attention and receiving a lot of reports, obviously getting her frozen.

I'm not friends with leuphoria so idk exactly what happened in this situation but as proven in the link posted at the beggining, this girl is trying to play the same trick over and over again to make some profit. This girl is already banned from other selling sites as well because this happens all the time with her.

When a lot of sellers have problem with one specific buyer, the problem is definetly not on the sellers end.

 

@TySimpson - No, I am not. This particular account I bought a few years back from the seller "underground kingz" on sythe, and I have tried to get in touch with him regarding the original email but the user seems to be inactive at the moment. What Tree is claiming is outlandish and there is no scam whatsoever. They were negligent with the account the purchased, and I have a strong suspicion they have been banned on other forums for doing this exact thing - buying accounts, stripping them clean of anything of value, then getting them frozen by breaking in game rules then demanding refunds.

It's a great con if you think about it, and she's trying to get away with it on a technicality - that I don't have access the email linked. The reason I don't is because I bought the account from a reputable vendor years ago and I'm reselling it now. It has been in my possession for years without a problem. Tree/Princess Someone gets it and one week later she blows it up.

Regardless, I have not scammed them. They got the account frozen. It's two very different things. I delivered on the product they purchased. What they choose to do with after is their responsibility. This is akin to buying suede boots then jumping in puddles and claiming the product is faulty. The onus falls on the buyer to treat the purchased product with care - not neglect - and I, the merchant, should not be penalized if they decide to play russian roullette with a bought account.

 

I decided not to ask for my money back.

You can ask the mods to delete this thread altogether, that's the only way you're getting me to remove my posts...

They don't "delete" a thread,they put it in past reports.
I never scammed people on clraik.
It's up to the mods to decide if you did indeed scam me or not.
I know for a fact,that "outing" someone is against the rules.
