Nah, till I get an apology from Matthew (who was the only Admin that remains that was an asshole when I was head User ed) I will show no respect to Alex, unfortunately. User Education wasn't intended to have moderators, they aren't staff. I fought for the staff rights for UE, got denied, and now I have a perm black mark on my record for this site it seems.

I just don't think he should have a colored name, IP search-ability, or the right to see the staff lounge. He is not staff, he is a head user educator. There are not going to be many, or any other head user ed's that will be moderators, and if they are, that's just making the section more important than it was intended to be.

He is a head user educator, meaning he maintains the user-educator section. Who do you expect to moderate that section? Globals don't exist any more, so that doesn't make sense. Administrators are busy as it is. Maybe me? Some market moderator? You see, it does not make sense for anyone BUT The Dark to moderate that section. He leads a section, therefore he should moderate it, regardless of its contents or intentions compared to the rest of the forum.

Even so, he doesn't moderate users, just the guides and such. I'm sure you've seen the old thread cp which Steph laid out everything of why Head User Educators aren't staff, and are never going to be staff. Just because they "moderate" a section, and such, doesn't mean they should have infraction rights, or anything like that.

This was answered a long time ago, and it was said that it would never happen, next to come colored names for all the middlemans.
