Misa's guide to a decent pure.

~~~~~~~~~~~Step one. The creation

Guidelines for making a good pure name:
NEVER make a name like omg01200101, cowsgomoolol, imchicken, lil moocow, ect ect
Make something that sounds BAD ASS or EXTREMELY WEAK like either
mastar pkar (my pure im training now)
or pi3point14 or something (that they think would be a noob that is really easy to kill. BIG MISTAKE




~~~~~~~~~~Step Two The start~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


Log into your account you created in step one and finish tutorial island. Upon completion go into the house you start near and talk to the knight in the basement. Tell him you will slay the dragon for him. He gives you two lamps. Use one in attk and one in str. (or both in str if you are a str pure.) Head to the stronghold of player safety near barbarian village as shown in this picture:

after getting the lamps (use one in str and one in attk or if you are a str pure use both into str) thenhead into the dungeon and get the 10k gp and the gloves from the chest:

immediately leave and head towards varrock. Once in varrock go to the grand exchange and buy these items:
1x Iron scimitar
1x Steel Scimitar
1x Black Scimitar
1x Mith Scim.
1x Adamant Scim
1x Iron platebody
1x iron platelegs
1x iron fullhelm
1x str ammy

equip the iron armor and iron scim + str ammy and bring black scim and steel scim with you. Head towards lumbridge then head towards the cow field near draynor. Kill these cows and deposit the hides untill you have about 20 attack and 20 strength.

After getting 20 attack and strength at the cows head back to the bank and withdraw your mith scim and your addy scim. head to the prayer guild (A.K.A the place with alot of monks near edgeville (if im not mistaken)
Train here till about 40 attack and 40 strength ( Having the monks heal you when you need healing)

this is where those cowhides come into play . Sell them and take the money and try to buy a rune scim. You Should be able to get it. Take the rune scim and equip it (with your awesome iron armor and strength amulet that has been with you for so long ) and I would suggest going to the palace of al kharid and killing the guards one by one until you get to 60 attack and/or strength. From here on, you can either train fishing/woodcutting/some profitable skill and get money to train mage (comming in a later guide) or range (also comming in a later guide) both of which are a good thing to have to pk OR continue training strength/attack via your own methods (pm me if you have a better place to train than one i listed) Just telling you a good method to train a pure (and how i train mine).

Good guide, the name part I think is a little opinionated, but other than that, its very good. Has some very good ideas I would never think of (such as getting the 10k and boots first, and having the monks heal you). Anyway, you get kind of vague at the end, but I know you're still adding so I give it an 8/10, great job!

And I like defence Involved Pures, I have 3 zerkers, rangers, tankers, and mage tanks...so =.= gl anyway...Umm try making a summoning pure, they rock =P

There are other ways to get some "pure cash" than cowhides. And I don't dig the names either.

 

Mage is actually a very low cost or a very high profit skill, if you are just getting 60 magic. Just use like any spell to level 35, then telegrab wine of zamorak till 55-60. If you stop at 55, high alch something till 60. Pwned.

Use fist of guthix for mage, saves countless money. Other than that, ok guide. 7/10.
