Idea about RS names...

Well as all of you know it's very hard to get a decent name on RS nowadays and it will only get harder....So I had an Idea, I'm sure jagex will never do it but its just food for thought. All the good names well atleast the majority of them are on level 3 accounts that havent ever been played on. I think jagex should delete theese accounts and re-open up their names.

Its a poor idea. I understand its hard to find those rare names these days, infact its near impossible. I managed to get a 12 word name the other day, so you just gotta try. I don't think they allow three letter names anymore (or they're all gone), so be quick and get the four letter names.

This would be pointless...then, after Jagex posts the update (maybe they could have like a 2 week "claiming" period, after that the accounts become inactive), wouldn't the accounts be gone really soon anyways? FAIL!

 

What if the people decide oh im going to come back and buy 10 years of membership (exageration) and then they cant get on their account anymore.

 

Then people would just claim to be the person who was inactive on the account.

I like the idea. give them a 3 month period to go on the accounts though. it would free alot of gigs of memory being wasted in jagexs account servers.

My guess is 3000000 names would be freed atleast.

if anything, i think they should let use use icon's and sign's instead of just letters and numbers... i mean like Ca$h or something...

i know this is a crap idea to, but it's more to a possibility then jagex deleting names.

 

Nah icons would just screw up RS and make it look messy.....
