USB mini charger cable

i have a usb mini charger cable that only charges, is there any way i can make it into a data cable?

 

Plug it into a device that requires it for Data transfer

rofl, it doesnt work like that. its a charge only cable, it cant do data transfer.

 

If its only a charge cable then it cannot transfer data as it does not have the physical requirements to do so. Alternately you can dismantle the cable then solder wires on yourself, but I recommend you just buy one, they're very cheap nowadays.

 

$15 is cheap? maybe for you, but not for me. ima just return this while set and get the ipod charger seperate. for the usb mini cable, i found my old one.

 

Lol here in the Uk I can get one for about £1-£3 which is about $1.6 to $4.8. I actually have too many of them.

 

i used to have too many of them, idk where the hell they went,lol. but i found one of my old ones so im just gonna return this $25 setup of ipod chargers. i got the bundle because i thought the mini usb one could do data transfer. i needed both anyways because my mom vacuumed up the ipod charger an i couldnt find my data cable. but seeing that i found my data cable and this one wont work, im gonna return it and just get the single ipod cord which is still $20 but i need it.

wtf? how can your vacuum take something that big? Unless its a nano charger.

 

it is a nano charger. its the 2 foot cord with the little usb plug and then the other end has the charger part.

 

i know what your talking about, and i think there is a way, you can change in the system registry. look it up. i did it before with zune. type zune as a usb in google and try the same method and see if it works

 

Oh you meant the cord, my bad, I thought you meant the dock. lol.
