Ivorii's guide to different pking styles

hey guys
if your here your probably curious to learn about different pking styles.

well to start off a pking style is a combination or a style of attack your runescape character uses to weaken or god willing kill your foe therefore "pking them".

here we go
1. there is the commonly known obsidian maulers, who just weaken you down to very low health with an weapon requiring 1str or maybe a range weapon then whip out an obsidian maul to finish the job. obsidian maulers are very rare for the requirements desire 1 attack.

2. another commonly known style, the range 2h. rangers (mainly f2p) train range to a very high level and strength aswell so that when they weaken you down to a very low level they can whip out the 2hand and finish the job. this is more for levels (20-65).

3.the rune weapon strength pures, its simple they train to 40attack and get very high strength levels to dominate most of the f2p world.

4. straight range pures/ void pures, these pures are very deadly, i have been koed many times by the ultimate combination of a dark bow and full void. these pures have great reputations for koing the target fast and with ease. this type of pure is recommended for everyone.

5.range tankz, these pures are hard hitting def noobs lol, they usually wear torag with mage short bows or a rune crossbow and destroy the enemy with great range power and great protection.

6.defence noobs, this type of pure was made famous by a pker called defil3d who pked in the wilderness with full torags a dragonfire shield and an iron scimitar, she eventually wore out the opponents with her constant 1's and her 99 defence.

7.ancienters, blitzers, barragers, bursters, no matter what type of ancient spell it is these pures are devesatingly dangerous if your a lower level without protect from mage or if your a high level and theyre farcasting you. these pures can be very dangerous and should be approached with caution. the ancient spell book is full of dangerous spells.

8.dharoking/venging, this is one of the epic style pking skills, you have to be a pro to master this style, youll need high level magic and high lvl strength. these pures hit devastatingly high and with the vengeance spell what ever you hit on to them some of the damage you caused gets hit right back at you. best lvl to be using this style(101-136).

9. 1 iteming, this is the lowest of all pking styles, this is usually used when a player dies and decides to seek vengeance on the player that killed them, they are very annoying especially when they have dds's.

10.farcast agsing, this is the most risky type of pking for you have to take a 100m+ sword into the wilderness/bh to fight people with. in this style you weaken the foe right down with ice barrage and then quickly give them an armadyll god sword special. only recommended for pures and always have protect item on!

11. being a noob pker, this style is commonly used by noobs who safe, it is inefficient and shouldnt be used.

12. the ultimate hybrid, specialising in range mage and strength the hybrid is a combination style that obliterates any opponent, the deadly combination of an dds, ice blitz and dragon (e) bolts can be devastating to the most professional of all pkers.

well here are a few widely known pking styles, there are over 1000 more combinations.

very nice, but some pictures would help. My style is rune with neizinot along with whip and dds spec for kos

 

When u pro from range on those void they wont stand a chance they 1 spec and full spec bar is gone zerker pure can pwn those voiders

dont u knw? the most common technique is Ice Barrage them, and then use the dbow spec, some use Ice Barrage and then range them using r c'bow twice or so (with good bolts) and then dbow spec. This is good in a 1v1 situation tho, if it is multi, say byebye.

I usually farcast ags. And I think your mistaken, I only recommend this for HIGH LEVEL DEFENSE. Pures will get hit out of their mind in it and also their special won't hit. Only recommend for high levels, wear ahrims, neitiznot, and Armadyl Godsword. Definitely my favourite way to do Clan Wars, and sometimes BH.

 

And ummm no your completely wrong. Any melee pure gets raped by a range pure. And like biohazard said, if your any good at pking with range you usually freeze them, then weaken, then your puny zerker pure can say goodbye. Sorry, but I'm really not a fan of melee pures, not sure where people get the idea that they're good.

 

lmao melee pures are only at their peak when they have no def 99 str and 60 att/70/75 [depending on ur choice or how rich you are]

as soon as their fighting main accounts they fail though, mage/range is a beast combination & when you put full void range into that its hard to escape [unless ur a tele noob ]

wow nice, a++ guide, never knew defil3d was a def noob. nice man!!!

 

Too many typos, was kind of hard to heard at times, also the section 11 is kind of... weird? and the attitude on defence is a little bit annoying... and defil3d didnt really pk, she was a staker and then just went for 99 def and did also a little bit of pking, she mostly dueled though since def "pures" aren't really good pkers in old wildy/new pvp (since when she would have the opponent low food the opponent would just run away). I suggest you add some pictures, maybe fix the text (typos)... i give the guide a 6/10.
Also, im a tank range (even though my stats are kind of a mixture between a melee and a tank range ;-D)

There arn't alot of pure def pures out there.

 

I just want to say - Defence is so much better in the PvP than strength - On my main I woop everyone and I only have 70 str but 80 defence and attack ALL THE WAY ^^
