I believe it's really good macro practice. You could probably use higher exposure, and a cleaner light source. Might consider getting a remote for your camera, too, so that you don't get camera wobble when you press the shutter.

I just see something and snap a photo or two.

Maybe once I get a nicer camera I'll bother with that!
