10 hours of community service for skateboarding.

I just got 10 hours of community service for skateboarding. I think its ridicoulus skating keeps me away from drugs and it's a good hobby.

 

Its not because you were skateboarding, its where you were skateboarding. Suprised you got 10 hrs though, or have you had warnings before?

 

I just got finished with 30 hours of community service for hitting a golf ball.

Yeah, pretty ridiculous.. because it was into the woods.

 

It's mostly because the cop doesn't like me he let other kids go.

 

Where abouts were you skateboarding?

 

Well then you have every right to appeal this.
There were no signs/anything prohibiting against skateboarding, you did nothing wrong.

There is no use of apealing it. the local ordinances state that there must be a sign within view of every side of the building. There wasn't a sign posted on that sign anymore (got stolen) but that really doesn't matter because it will just bite me in the ass.

 

Wow that makes me mad. Good thing that NEVER happens where I'm from Cops say, alright 1 more try, then kick you out.

Yaa, that sucks man. I got tickets, but never that far for skating. I received cs for other stuff though...

 

Ahh, that's a bummer.. Well damn, the cops around my towns (I have two houses) don't give a shit where you skate unless you're actually bothersome.

 

Well your pretty uneducated in this aspect. When you wax curbs to make them slide it hurts property but what we were doing hurt anything.

 

Well I have to do 30 hours of community service anyways by the time I graduate or I can't. Just get something interesting. I got all mine from a haunted house so find something like that. But in related news, my friend's brother got his board stolen by a janitor lol

 

Community service isn't always bad. First of all, it's nice for college resume if you do additional CS. Second of all, there are many community service projects you could find related to what you like to do. In fact, I'm sure you could find a program in your area that helps people with disabilities do some form of extreme sport, or if not, some sport at all...

You can always find something you're interested in, mate. Might as well take it optimistically.

 

I think it's funny that people view community service as a punishment.
I do it in my free time, so think of it as an opportunity to try something new.

Wow thats pretty dumb.. 10hrs is a lot for skating in a non-skating zone. Where you wrecking anything? maybe not so why 10hrs?
