Was Banned?

Hey I've just come back onto sythe.org today at TAFE to have a look at some RS2 Accounts, and to sell some RS2 Accounts.

I have now found that I’m banned for a reason I do not know.

I believe it has something to do with what occurred on the weekend which is either;

Attempted scam of buying a steam account, which was VAC banned.

or

The shredderbeam incident.

In-depth detailed explanations of each incident;

"Attempted scam of buying a steam account, which was VAC banned.";

I was attempting to buy a 7 Digit steam account, which has counter strike: source on it.

He told me it would cost me $5USD, He gave me vent details in which I could have a quick chat with him. I then told him I would not go first under the certain circumstances with him being a leecher.

He gave me a user name, so I logged into it and it was VAC banned, so I left vent and didn't purchase the account.

Then he threw around accusations that I took the account from him, which I don’t actually have access to now.

I had the "shredderbeam" impostor added on my MSN friends list, He private messaged me before hand seeing my posts on sythe, asking if he could MM.

I didn't check if he was legit or not, because I did not need him. When the time came and I needed his services he gave me a reasonable excuse which was believable.

I then added him to the STEAM account MSN convo with mafiaboy, and he explained it to mafiaboy when I was in the toilet.

When I came back shortly afterwards, mafiaboy assessed that it was an impostor, and a scam. I came to the reality of my stupidness by not checking his email or to get a sythe pm.

When mafiaboy started harassing me calling me a scammer out of my own stupidity, I blocked him to hide my embarrassment and stupid mistake of my own.

I had no contact with the impostor shredder before or after the attempted scam, except the private message about the MM.

The excuse was;
I’m shredderbeam from sythe.org, >link< of the real shredderbeams page. He then told me that it was his job was to clean up the "report a scammer" sub forum and that it was a tedious and lengthy job and that if he logged in and didn’t clean up the sub forum his moderator status would be removed for dodging jobs.


Overall I believe I was banned for the wrong reason, as I’ve been a big contributor to the community with RS2 sales / buys and Power Levelling. I’m trusted and am a legitimate sythe user.

Why would I ultimately become an impostor or scamming a steam account and risk getting banned for something worth 20$, which is a steam account, when I’ve been involved in successful trades involving much more money.

My sythe name is SMAKT so im hoping to be unbanned asap as I have legitimate trades to do on sythe.
