Prayer Guide (Keeping It High)

Well I don't really know if you would count this much as guide but more of a hint. This is just to people who forgot. I would reccomend using this guide to bosses using mage or range. This method will save you a Prayer Potion if you do it correctly. The best time to use this would probably be like during Monkey Madness while using range the monster will mage you. Turn off mage protect untill the spell gets to you.

I've done this before. It does save you prayer points and even more than 4 of them if you do it properly. Good tip though, thanks for sharing.

Ty mate, I never knew about this before. However, 4 prayer poitns is not that much to save. Anyway, you use 4 prayer poitns during critical times, so ty mate.

I already knew about this. I can do it perfectly. If you go to abby demons/dark beasts, you see a ton of ppl doing this.

On your video, you missed a lot of clicks, which could kill you fighting high level monsters.

 

I've done this before as well, but one place I wouldn't recommend you do this would be at GWD. Keep pray on at all times.

Actually it wasn't working on the monster you were killing. JaGeX has updated so you can't prayer switch. Its only because the monster was like lv 5 that it was hitting 0's. You need to turn your prayer on about 2 seconds before the attack hits you, and when you count that out load its actually pretty long. This now only works on really slow attacking monsters. If you do not believe me, for those who have done Jad, you know if you hear the sound for his range attack, its to late to switch. Even if you do switch the switch is inside the 2 second window and you STILL get hit. This used to work so I don't fault you but it won't work any more unless you flash prayer (turning it on and off even more quickly so you don't lose any or very few prayer points).

Used to do this killing metal dragons, I used about 1 prayer point from bad timing per 5 minutes.
Though, someone above said this doesn't work anymore, but it was good at the time. If you could set it up with an auto clicker, it would be even better, or set another mouse to click prayer while you use yours to play the game.
