Lol buying lime slices is useless. No one buys them so who cares if you can spike them? Sounds like someone has too many lime slices and wants to sell them.

buying all of them at high price, after a while you would most likely be buying from each other. Raising the price, and making you profit.

You bought for say
45 gp, like 30k of them.
Then they rose to 70 ea because of the manipulation.


you sell them back and forth, and you made.
750k

It keeps rising, you make more and more cash.

Did it with a few friends with an item - not naming-
Started at like 300 ea, went up to like 1.2k ea, made over 90m.

I was one of the first to do research on artificially rising GE prices, I successfully brought an item's price up 400% over a week with three accounts.

But the fact of the matter remains: If it's a junk item, it's still junk. Nobody will buy them from you, therefore you cannot realize your profit and will wind up stuck with millions locked into the item.

This is a good method to temporarily create junk items for RWTing (think granite..), but it is not a reliable way of earning money.

Want a real way to make money with the GE? Try investing.

I wasn't saying it was a bad idea, lime slices is a great idea.

You end up BUYING THEM FROM EACH OTHER.
God, will you learn to read.

You buy 100k lime slices, they rise 40 gp, you made 4m.
You keep selling in between each other, you all make profit.
Only one loses profit, and it makes it up the next round when they make more.
