[Online Shopping] Discount & Promotional Codes

This is a very short guide, so please go ahead and read all of it.

Many websites have a field that says "Discount Code", "Promotional Code" or something like that, where you can enter a code that will help you save money. Many people just ignore this and think "Oh, well I don't have one". Don't ever do that; simply search "[PRODUCT/WEBSITE name] coupon/dicount/promotional Code" on Google and I can assure you will get results.

Some websites that have a discount field include:
GODADDY.COM
HP.COM
DELL.COM

I prefer WWW.RETAILMENOT.COM which has a variety of codes submitted by users.

EXAMPLE: I purchased a computer from Hewlett Packard on their website. It came out to be $899.99 but I found a coupon code for $300 off desktop purchases, and it became $599.99. Thirty seconds of searching saved me $300, which would be well over 30 hours of work on a minimum wage job.

I used to ignore them too, now I feel real stupid about how much money I could have saved. I never buy items in retail stores anymore.

It's short and to the point which I like. I do think that you should post some pictures though. Shows us pictures of the "promotional code box", some results from searches on google, etc. They aren't really necessary, however it will only enhance your guide. Also, don't be afraid to add some color ^_^

I always check for promotional codes whenever i purchase something off the internet, especially electronics or from go daddy, as i buy domains alot. Saves you quite some cash sometimes.
