Now people that have 10 workers can always be bumping and never miss a bump, while if you're a one man circus you might forget

this update is shit. i just saw this, i have stopped my autobumper as of this post. quoting my post in the suggestion, this will hurt richards pockets.

"Richard won't okay this because he will lose money if his banner spot holders decide to leave sythe. vendors will continue to leave sythe and collect their vouches elsewhere like they already are. most websites for service providing and gold sales are already linking trustpilot instead of sythe links due to the new update. if they can't even autobump their own threads, they may as well just leave sythe completely."

one way or another, people will want their gold selling thread on the first page. I expect to see an increase in other posts that do not just say "bump".

As for autobumper.io the feature will co-exist with all other forums since it has now grown far past 1 single forum. Bumping/posting on Sythe is still an option, but of course its at your own risk (that goes without saying).

 

While I agree that autobumpers needed to be regulated I can't help but think this is an overreaction. Several solutions existed to remedy these problems without taking the nucleur option. A bump button which requires a physical press or software which checked whether your account was online before bumping would have alleviated 90% of these issues. Or to a lesser degree, a timeout where you had to refresh your threads.

We all know how bumping your threads every 8 hours is a giant pain in the ass and it's gonna be twice as bad now. This update pretty much gives a massive leg up to goldselling companies-- I'm not sure why a little guy would even make a thread in some of more crowded forums anymore. Not to mention, people will still be autobumping their threads which gives a larger leg down to those who could have otherwise used a public free service.

In addition to this massive update with seemingly no input from the community, the auto-dnt is ridiculously unprofessional and really makes me question the decision making skills and maturity of the current staff team.

Just hit 100+ users before the update though thanks to everyone

 

So much for trying to create a fair marketplace. You've now penalized legitimate users who were actively online from autobumping because others couldn't follow the rules. Instead of removing everyone's privilege your attention should've been focused on the ones who were breaking this rule. Completely unfair and unwanted change if you ask me.

This honestly feels like a cop-out though. Punishing everybody else instead of being proactive in punishing those who violate the rules :/

 

I do agree with this new update however dnt people without warning is very sad tbh feel like should have been a 24h grace period as was before with the discord advertising one as I see it has effected many people poorly without warning and seeing dnt on someone who has outstandingly good services with no issues like hope above shouldn't be allowed as seeing a dnt on someone makes people not wanna deal with them in future and harms reputation off of a spur of the moment decision without warning

 

I also disagree with the DNT you should have just given warnings and make an slow process for people to adjust. In my experience I still agree with this to some extent, I remember Bus369 he used to autobump like 20 threads even in markets he wasnt really active just to make his post counts go up, thats just negative overall for everyone and it is hard to discern who is actively bumping BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY DEALING IN THAT MARKET or not, unless they get reported and that loses a bit of mod time, people should at least be concious now, cause they are online at the very moment they are bumping.
