I'm not that sort of person that listens to them on a daily basis,

But i do like their music,
especially Duality and Vermillion pt1, pt2.

 

lmao buddy, try to learn up to 5 songs on guitar,
post them on youtube and show me.
There an awsome band, but i bet most of you just looked at them didn't even listen and said "Must be screamo" and went away from it.
Sad part is half there songs are not screamo :O

 

Well, if that's the case, they would be right, because they are screamo.
That's not the reason I don't like them tho, I just think they suck.

Actually, they're what would be classified as "Heavy Metal" (note the quotes). Heavy Metal and Screamo are two completely separate genres.

Personally I hate the band. The guitarist plays like two strings in a single riff, repeats that riif through the entire song, then plays a rather bad solo. I believe they are untalented, and the music they make is just terrible. I listen to a lot of metal, and they just put dirt on the genre when you compare them to the greats.

 

I dont need points to say I like a band.
I like them because I like their sounds, thats all that I really "require" to like a band.

On your other post Deadzone, there drummer is a beast. He isn't the only thing that keeps them good.

Now lets see you play? Don't get cocky, unlike a lot of people I respect new guitarists, but don't think you're good because you can play 2-3 songs that you should learn within your first month-3 months of playing.

There guitarist is a joke, there singer lacks quality, bass player I don't even know just garbage lol. and the other 5 people who stand there with a finger up there ass ... well there what is up there ass..

I don't... but then again I get quality guitars...

Ahhh good ole slipknot hahaha im not to big of a fan of them at all really the only reason i like them is because there drummer is pretty good. Other than that i just dont have an interest in them and i dont understand why they need 2 other people to play FLOOR TOMS! wat the hell is up with that?!

Edit: EVEN there other guitarist plays a frekin mexican telecaster with one emg pickup in it?! are u out of ur mind?!

Wow, you're pretty good. :] The only reason I like Slipknot is there drummer somewhat, and the singer on some songs. Like I don't really like the screaming. It's just his voice to me seems like it has some sort of edginess, well I don't know how to describe it really.

I like slipknot..Especially "before i forget" and "wait and bleed."
