And there have been cases where mods/Official MM's have scammed. How is that meant to be forseen?

And how many trades do you go through on this site exactly?

As I said earlier, people's impatience will generally overcome their safety instincts and will go first or use a MM that they haven't researched properly. Adding scammers to the equation will just intensify that.

 

I understand what you mean, but eventually the amount of scammers would be overwhelming. And the markets would die out.

 

if we accepted scammers among us, more would form, ive met a few people that have openly admitted they have a scamming account and a trusted account, and they only use the scamming account from there dads/moms house so they wont get ip banned at there main home that they use there trusted one at, meaning the people that are afraid to get ip-banned wouldnt decide to scam if it became a non-punishable action.

 

Well then you learn not to trade with them. And I have done plenty of trades.

I would not plan on that, but it wouldn't be all to bad.

If you know the person is a scammer, then you will not trade with them. Simple as that.

They are scammers, so they would not be trusted.

 

You will learn not to trade with them, as for the other 1000's of people that use sythe? Eventually word may spread, but by then they could have scammed thousands. It's still stealing, especially when they steal REAL LIFE CASH.

You don't see Western governments allowing thievery simply because "it's too hard to maintain".

How would it not all be too bad? People need to sell their gold, people need to buy gold. They come here to do that. People need to make money MMing, they come here to do that. People need to buy/sell accounts/pins etc. They come here to do that. You're just trying to create a forum without an RS blackmarket aren't you?

And if you don't know that they are a scammer? You still get scammed.

I think all scammers should have to hear from higher athourity at some time. Just letting them get away is just instigating them to do it again.

 

Don't support, the concept makes some sense, but it's still not a good idea, in my opinion.

 

how about this:
let say "i am NOT scammer" has a scammer report against him. So he would get a 1-2 hour TEMPORARY ban so he can not scam anyone if he did anyways. the 1 to two hour ban is for the mods reviewing the evidence.

 

People would just report people for no reason to get them temp banned, and the reports are taking far longer than a few hours.

 

obviously higher ranked people would have anything they want, the world doesnt work like this. the community needs that thread, to pay a lesson to those who do wrong against fellow members of sythe. honestly, people on this community shudnt scam each other, so bad idea...

 

Yeah, i guess this is true. people need to learn to never trust anyone, and to always use an official MM, or just straight up dont trade. Me I always use an MM or they go first, so i support this.

 

Maybe no bans but TWC or a scam count? I don't use mm's but I would definetly start if they changed it to this.

 

I disagree. You can never be sure if you will get scammed or not. If this became a rule everyone would just start to scam, maybe evan official mm.

 

I used to scam. Saw how wrong it was, and I stopped. I really do not see the point of the report a scammer forum. Its a place for noobs to either frame someone, or report false scams.
