    Hey Guys!
    Ok the new PvP system is relatively complex, and many of you are NOT satisfied with the loot. I'll explain how it works, how to receive better loot, and how to be one of the big guns out there.

    How Do I Become A Good Pker???

    There are only two ways. Be really rich and buy good equipment, and have some balls and take the stuff with you. This made sound harsh, but a person with full dharoks, fury, dragon boots, and barrows gloves will kick the crap out of another person with the same stats that has just dharoks. Also if you don't skull because your afraid your unlikely to be attacked except by one itemers who are just spitefully wasting your food and lowering your health. This doesn't mean take 50m worth of stuff and skull, only that good pkers succeed because they don't hesitate.

    The new system works like so: The more kills you get before entering a safe zone determines some of your loot. This is greatly improved in hot spots (I have devised the loot chances improve by about 30-50% but I could be completely wrong). Level of the opponent affects loot as well. The greatest factor is kill count. You cannot stand in a safe zone, step out, quickly battle someone, kill them while they are carrying 10m of stuff, and step back in. You have to stand in hot zones, get 5+ kills, and kill people your level or higher. The system is based on balls. I know this because after standing next to G.E, stepping out and 1 hitting people with dark bow special, and getting 200k of loot for a 30m kill, I started standing outside for long periods of time and getting friends to bring me food. My loot became awesome after about 7 kills, and I pulled in about 7 million in drops (remember I am 126 in PvP worlds so my loot is considerably better than a level 50's).

    Clans

    Well the system has come back to clans. Surviving in a clan is considerably easier than surviving alone. ONLY GO IN CLANS WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW AND TRUST! IT is to easy to get bsed these days and end up in someone's luring video with the world laughing at you.

    Effectiveness of Clans

    5 Man Clan

    Clans become very effective when you have 1 or 2 of each portion of the combat triangle. I will give you an example of a group of people I pk with in my clan. I pk with 5 others that are level 132-137 and we have:

    2 melee
    2 mages
    1 ranger with ags (me, I love range pking :p)

    This setup is super effective, as we have one mage set on ancients, 1 mage set on lunar (he uses the switch spellbook lunar spell to switch to normal for 1 spell and teleblock!), 1 "ags"er wearing void and wielding dark bow. The meleers soak up the damage up front, the lunar mage heals the, and the ancients mage and I work on holding them in place and doing lots of damage.

    The ags (ags can be replaced with any finishing weapons, such as barrelchest anchor, bgs, obsidian maul, zgs is king next to ags here, etc.) ranger keeps a void melee helmet in his inventory. When few people are left on the other team, or a someone on the other team (the "team" could just be a solo pker) becomes low on health and is eating, swap to ags (finishing weapon), put on void melee helmet, and run in and use the special. You can do this anytime but it is better to finish with it because it hits higher.

    The lunar mage basically just heals the meleers (they can eat themselves, but a lunar mage is a surprisingly great asset). If atacked, it is the ancients mage's job to freeze him, and a meleer's job to come over and attack the frozen player.

    Ancient mages job is to keep anyone from running or attacking the mage and ranger.

    The 1st melee should be using a powerful weapon like a gs (if your 5 man clan is like level 90's ancients can be replaced with just damage spells, and instead of a lunar mage the mage should just entangle the enemies) or something of the sort. A semi-slow powerful 2-handed weapon, bgs or ags recommended. The 2nd melee should use a faster weapon with a shield like a whip and a dragon square or a dfs. Both should attack the same person to start, and therefore you will have a powerful slow weapon and a moderately powerful fast weapon pounding away on one guy. This gives the victim little time to eat, especially when he is getting hit for 45's from the gs and 30's from the whip. The whip is twice the speed of the gs and the gs hits once every (approximately) 2.7 seconds so every 2.7 seconds you will get 2-3 hits in (1 hit gs, 1-2 hits whip). Once the target is low the void ranger/melee with finishing weapon will come in and either finish or add to the damage. The ancient mage's job if you are facing several opponents, is to keep the other melee players frozen in place so you face as little people as possible. (Again you can replace weapons with cheaper weapons if you cannot afford or are not willing to risk, in fact I recommend doing that until you are confident in yourself and your team).

    Is an all mage team good?

    The most accurately I can put this is meh.
    An all ancienting team can slaughter and it can be slaughtered. If you want mostly mages bring 1 or 2 melee and a few rangers. The melee will protect you from rangers and the rangers will slaughter both the melee and enemy spellcasters. Ditto for all range; bring some melee and some mage.

    Two Man Team

    If you are going to pk with your friend or something, I suggest one of you range and the other melee. The reason is that a high leveled ranger can penetrate almost any melee armor anyways; whereas a mage's spells are much more greatly affected by d'hide. Also mage's are weak against rangers, and even if they are frozen it doesn't matter. So a ranger can kill all combat styles, and so can melee, but mage is weak against both melee and range. Admittedly they hit melee a lot but if the melee gets close the mage is dead.

    DO NOT 1 Item

    People see 1 itemers as noobs and you won't get anything for your kills. Why bother?



    Sorry about the lack of pictures; I am still new to the system and hypercam makes me lag a bit. Wearing what I usually wear in pkign I am kind of nervous at the moment about lag in a PvP world. Hopefully I will get some soon though.

    the kill count isnt if you have more kills its if you kill someone with a high kill count it could be that aswell but i know if you kill someone with a high kill count its good

    This is a very helpful and tip-filled guide. Making a clan with the people you suggested would be true ownage =P.
