i feel it's not very fair that a sythe member can get vouched for giving away free accounts or free paypal money, i have seen many vouches for people giving away things like 4 letter accounts or accounts with cool names for free or lvl 10 defense accounts, in my opinion i feel that in some sense is them buying vouches (which is against the sythe regulations and rules) because there purposely just doing something that shows nothing about them being trustworthy and they than use it as a vouch meaning there using it to look more trusted. tell me what you think, but i think scammers abuse this to look trusted, aswell as other people, and also thats like saying soneone can give you $5 through paypal and you vouch them for it, which is the same situation and is practically buying a vouch.

Thanks for taking your time to read

    Thanks and Regards,

    Miranda

You should be able to form an opinion of the person's level of trust through their vouches.

    E.g. "w00t w00t gave me 10 def wit swet name1!1" - Shit vouch

E.g. 2 "Fast and efficient, no middle-man needed, talked me through it all step by step. Completely trustworthy."

Which sounds better? People should be smart enough to start formulating opinions on their own.

what you don't realise is this has been going on for ages and mods just don't simply have the time to take care of all the individual cases.
Until someone actually comes up with a intelligent system it will always be like this.

Put it this way... if i gave away 1,000 names and someone with the same amount of posts and join date without the background was trying to sell you something, who would you trust the most?

Yea. Imagine you are going to trade with someone. You want to have a look at his/her vouches before trading.
Does 3 vouches saying "***** gave me free name! Very trustworthy! Thanks!" make them look trustworthy in your view?
    It wouldn't in mine.
"**** sold me a pure with 93 ranged, smooth trade, trustworthy guy!" and then a link to the original thread. That is a good vouch. That makes you trusted, unless it's from someone with 3 posts.

You do realise that mods have already said that they don't count as vouches... and do you know how long it would take for the staff to go through every users vouches and delete/infract the bad ones?

How about we say no to this suggestion, but:

How about I educate you a little here. Look for good quality vouches

I.e "Vouch for Louis :)! Sold me 40 mill! I went first, very smooth transaction! Will definitely buy from him again!" is far better then "Vouhc fro Lousi :)1 he GIf me ferr accoutn n gt me 1-3 attk!"

Use your common sense and judge for yourself if the user is deem able trustworthy or not.

YOU should do YOUR part, either:

    NEVER vouch for free shit.

SAY that they gave free shit.

That way the buyer can tell the trustworthy-ness.

I think people just need to decide for themselves what they think counts as a vouch. To me if the person had 10 vouches and 9 of them were for giving away things then I probably wouldn't go first in a trade with them. If I go to trade someone I just look at there vouches read all of them and click the links to the original post... and if everyone did that there would probably be less people getting scammed.

100% agree. Though, I do have one of those vouches when I gave away a name, didnt ask for a vouch but got one. But otherwise, agreed.

Sythe.org does not officially support vouches nor do we completely control them.

All we control is where they are posted and we punish people who fake them.

People can vouch for whatever they want. It's up to you to decide if you want to trust someone's vouch and accept it.
