Okay, this is not a ordinary suggestion at all, nor do i tend on it to be. But, this is a serious thread, so lets be serious and not act like a bunch of kids, okay?

Continuing onto the suggestion : Scamming, allow it. I bet right now you are scrolling to the bottom of the page, going to type something ridiculous like "fuck scammers" etc, etc. But, hear me out. There are 19 pages of report a scammer right now. And, i only see a mod response on one of them on the first page, for now. The scammers are clearly getting away, being free to scam more and more, until they are stopped. They do not look like they will be stopped any time soon, seeing on how many pages there are.

The bottom line would be, if you get scammed, its your fault. This would leave people to ultimately be more safe, or to not trade at all.

Post your thoughts, and please make them intellectual.

    srs thread is srs

Well, it's all about if you have proof they scammed, and if others trust them.

Clearly, if someone had proof that Pen (no relevance here) scammed, then i probably would not trade with him. It is all about if you did it or not.

    I say unban Dorito!

Overall, saying that its your fault you got scammed. The blame goes towards you, so why blame the scammer if you are dumb enough to fall for it?

Well, we would have to see how far this goes first, which i doubt because some mod would come and be like "O.M.G. scammers r gay" without really giving it a consideration.

    And will do ;)

Very true, as some have proved, you can get people banned with fake proof!

I believe sigex did it to a couple of members during the summer.

So it really doesn't take a genius to pull it off.

I don't get it? What if an admin scams everyone? They still wouldnt be banned? Or are we saying that only the really obvious ones are bannable? That they're has to be more then enough evidence? Please explainn. :]

Well, it would ultimately come down to if you trust that person.

Like i stated before, lets say that admin "b" scammed. Well, if someone had proof of it, and i saw it, i would not trade with admin b.

Maybe a thing could be issued to where a admin could not scam, or some of the sort.

And i better not get in trouble for the triple post up there ^^

That's pretty much how it is now anyway. I got scammed by a person with posts and vouches, I posted legitimate proof against that person, that person WAS NOT banned. In fact, he made another thread offering THE SAME service with which he scammed me. It's not MY fault I was scammed, I followed all the rules. I was just stupid to trust somebody else on the internet with my st00f. I can safely say that I doubt I'll ever give out my info again, so I guess in a way I support the idea.

Don't give up. Keep reporting, if you have legit information show a mod on msn, etc.

Use a Middleman you trust. Basiclly how to prevent being scamed. Use a friend of yours that is trusted and loyal to getting back your account if anything goes wrong. :]

Middlemen can not be trusted either.

It is all about risk and reward, you take a risk, you get reward.

What if they set it up so that if someone posts proof you scammed you get a rank/title that says you're a scammer? And, they could do something along the lines of making it so that you can only sign into one account ever from one IP address, this way the person can not keep creating new accounts, and, if this didn't work, since the person isn't banned the staff would still know if someone had multiple accounts created.

You guys are totally missing the point of this as of right now.

If the scammer reports are not being done, what makes you think the scammers will be given a rank that says they are a scammer?
