Creating a PayPal Account

In order to create a PayPal Account, follow the following steps:

-Go to the PayPal Homepage
-From the Homepage, click on One of the Four "Sign Up" options
-You will be asked for your Country / Region and Language Preference
-Click on the "Get Started" Link for Personal
-You can update to Premier / Business later

-You will be prompted to enter the following:
-Email Address, Password (Used for logging onto PayPal)
-First and Last Name
-Address, City, State, Zip
-Phone Number

-From here you have the option of Adding a Bank Account / Credit Card / PayPal Credit Card
-These all can be applied for later after creating your PayPal Account
-Doing one of the following will allow you to Send Money and you will become Verified

-If you would not like to choose one of the above, click "Go to My Account"

Here is an example of your PayPal Main Page:



My Account Overview

Within the My Account Overview exists some important features.

-On the Left Side of your screen, you have two options
-Setting Up Your Account and Enhance Your Account

-For Setting Up Your Account
-This is where you can Add a Bank Account / Credit Card / PayPal Credit Card
-Doing one of these options will enabled your account to be Verified
-Being Verfied allows you to Send Money to others and receive more as well

-For Enhance Your Account
-You can Upgrade Account, Add Mobile Phone for PayPal

-Upgrading Your Account
-From here, you can change your account from Personal to Premier or Business
-Information on upgrading, click on "Upgrade Account" option on the side

-Adding Mobile Phone
-When adding a Mobile Phone, you can do the following
-Check your PayPal Balance, Send Money or Request Payment

-PayPal Plug-in
-PayPal Plug-in is a downloadable addon to allow you to shop securely online
-Click on the "PayPal Plug-in" link for more information

My Account Overview (Continued)

-In the Center of your Account Overview is your Account History / Information
-At the top shows your Email, Account Type, and Account Status
-All of these options can be changed by the Profile option in My Account

-Below this is your PayPal Balance, and the amount of money that you currently have
-You can have currency of USD, CAD, and British Pound
-Shown below this is your Recent Activity and Transactions

Verifying Your PayPal

Verifying your PayPal means that you have successfully gone through PayPal Security Checks

-In this, there are two ways that you can get Verified with your PayPal Account
-Add a Bank Account or Get Approved for the PayPal Plus Credit Card

-The benefits of Paypal include

-If you have a Credit Card / Debit Card on the Account, you can still Send Money to others

Problem Getting Verified?

Getting Verified may become difficult for some minors, and shall be explained in this segment

-As a minor, it may be difficult to get Verified as one may not have access to a Bank Account
-Parents may control a Bank Account, but it may not be touched by the minor

Only Two Known Solutions So Far

-Invest in the Paper Route business or Mowing a Lawn for some money
-Use this money to open up a Bank Account and get Verified

-Another way to get Verified is by AccountNowVISA
-I would not suggest this site, as Verification is taking a long time to process
-In my opinion, one should just get a job and open up a bank account

Yeah.. the layout I had for it didn't work..
I had indents everywhere... but they didn't apply to it

I know it's not very good, and I'm sorry that I couldn't get more pics..
Tbh, I wouldn't know where to add them

 

Try adding it where you start the 'verifying PayPal' part, like show what you need to click on etc. and what to fill in. Just a picture here and there would help a lot.

I also wanted to add the Sending Money Segment among other things. I know I'm not near close to finished.. but at least I got some of it posted =)

 

Give me a break mate, are you honestly telling me that NONE of this is on PayPal's OWN site?

PayPal gives people a freaking walkthrough on sign up, honestly, there's no way to really make a guide considering they post step by step what you have to do it sign up. You basically paraphrased everything and then say, HERE IS MY GUIDE ON HOW TO SIGN UP ON PAYPAL.

Not at all.. for the only thing you get to know on PayPal is that you click on "Sign Up" and enter the information I showed above. After that, PayPal tells you nothing more.. it's just an in-depth overview of all the little things that PayPal does have to offer so that one knows what they will be dealing with.

And btw, I'm not surprised that you're banned.. and won't even see this.

Yes, and thank you. I have some things to do tonight, but I shall be adding to the guide. For your recommendations, your credit shall be noted at the bottom of the guide for helping improve it. Thank you, Rawr Im Phat. =D

 

Ok first off, don't accuse him of ripping this guide. It is NOT ripped under any means. Also, this IS A GUIDE. A guide should provide step-by-step help when it is warranted, and seeing as this guide is on how to set up and use paypal, it is definently needed. Not everyone knows how to use paypal, and even if they walk you through it on the site, it doesn't mean they will completely understand. Having other resources available is very helpful to anyone.

As for the guide, Rawr is right when he says it needs more pictures. That's pretty much the biggest thing at this point. All the information seems covered so just go back and include some pictures. Decent start to a first guide. 7/10.

I have a question about PayPal, is it possible to get money onto there WITHOUT being verified? say I wanted to participate in one of those Survey-for-cash things, would I be able to without being verified?

 

Yes, you would be able to do this.

I will add this as a part to my guide soon. You can receive I believe up to 500 dollars a month without verified. I'll check, and add this segment on as well.

First off you come to this forum as D0rito and flame someones guide, then end up getting banned.
You then come back and create a new account to do the same thing...

Sure you cannot withdraw it and all, but then wouldn't you think the person who owns a unverified paypal account with money on it will verify it down the track...
Sheesh...

Nice guide Unbanned, very detailed, and well to the point... Pictures would make this guide an A+ material, as Rawr had mentioned...
