Zypur and Friends FIX the Spam Forum

The majority of you may have noticed that the spam forum has become a complete shit hole in the last few months.

This is why:

-Vouch threads
-*chan bullshit being overused
-Newfags thinking they know everything
-Idiots
-Silly rules


You may have also noticed the number of the fun guys leaving because shit's all fucked up...

Realize that the spam forum is not just a place to spam, but it's all that makes this site fun anymore. No one comes here for Runescape, and if they do, they don't visit the spam forum. General discussion and SFA are based on somewhat serious or personal issues. On the other hand, the Spam Forum is a place for a bunch of us to post whatever, and just chill, and not really be moderated. I'd say that's why it's one of the most popular forums on this board.


Now I call on the people who actually made this section what it is. Any of you fags on that Most respected list, or the people from the "Spam forum Government."

Solutions are simple, you just have to fight for them...


What needs to happen if this place will be any fun again:

1.)Prune all the old threads in this forum, but keep the stickies, and this thread, and maybe add some stickies of threads with mass replies. (Respected members list)


2.) Vouch threads eliminated

3.) Rewrite the rules: Allow basic flaming, such as "Fuck you," and let people vent here. If it's allowed here, I'm sure there'd be a lot less of it in the other sections. Also we should be able to bitch at people saying over 9000.

4.) Spam must be constructive: No random threads about (45gjhfkjhdsh y3)

5.) Allow some sort of leadership system, voted upon by the users. Basically the spam forum government. That looked like a lot of fun to me, and it could be useful. It could possibly help get idiots out of this section for a while: The leaders would have a vote, and maybe if there was a certain number of votes, it could get a user forum banned for a week or something.


It may sound somewhat pointless, but many users, and most of the veterans only come to Sythe anymore just to chill. Most of the chilling happens in the General and SPAM section...

Don't let this forum die out, don't let it be killed by faggots and morons.

I completely agree, I don't know very many people on Sythe, but I come here to read and hopefully get a laugh or two, but because everyone that ever made me laugh is leaving. I would also like to see the Spam Forum Government, it would be a good way to keep the Spam Forum active and fun.

Thats so true. Without those sections I wouldn't be on sythe.

I like the "light flame" idea. The spam forum needs less restrictions.

The government idea was a great too I felt. The members of the government who would be voted in would be able to
review the offense of a member on the spam forum, and vote upon the punishment etc. . .

Spam forum has potential.

 

Government by far is the best idea.
