If you are weak minded, which no offence but it sounds as if you are. I wouldn't there is nothing they really do unless you don't have that good of a grip on reality in the first place then your mind can play tricks on you. I personally have used one twice both times nothing really happened. although friends were freaked out but thats because they were ignorant.

If you want to do something scary for halloween go to a known haunted place alone or with friends around your place. I always go to a old grave spot that is about 3 miles from my house that is a world wide known place for "hauntings" and it's pretty fun expecially when shit really does happen. and then it's also fun to mess with friends.

The little rumor thing at the bottom is kinda true, there was a massive fire a mass amount of deaths due to a plague, and if I recall the town was rebuilt once but I can't recall.

A few things they don't mention I am assuming because they did not go out at night, is the oak tree they say the which is hung from glows and so do 2 of the grave stones that are next to it. I believe it may be just a prank someone pulled on someone at one point but it has always glown since I first went there when I was like 12 or so.
