How to keep items when you die in new PVP Worlds!

This is a little trick that I have recently discovered. You must be near a respawn point in order for this to work.

If you are about to die when you have your valuables with you, drop them on the ground when your health is very low. When you respawn, run back to where you were and your items will still be there. I have tested this out using a dragon dagger, and after I had respawned my items were still there.

I later on tried this out with a dragon scimitar and the result was the same.
After this I tried it with a Dragon Dagger and the Dragon Scimitar, Result was conclusive.

Just thought i would share this with you all.

i suppose this is a pretty good idea but you could just take teleport runes with you to tele to lummy

 

I did this when I died at Seers, just ran to Lumb bank, got a Cammy teletab and got my lovely D Scim

To the people who asked 'what happens if they kill you when you run back'.

Well when you run back, you won't be skulled, so will keep the 3 most valuable items anyway. =]

 

Basically, or you could just bring like 3 sharks.

The chances of you dying are slim anyway, as long as you are DMing in a crowded place, they won't see you.

 

You'd probably die in the process of taking them off, not to mention that it would take a good few seconds to get everything valuable un-equipped and dropped.
