If there was not a Federal Reserve we wouldn't be in this situation right now.

    Is the American Depression coming?

If a specific liberal organization called ACORN, wasn't pressuring banks to give loans to people who can't even pay them, there would be no 'bank bailouts', which put us in this situation.

Take it to the other thread. ;)

No, I don't believe so. All this is is a recession. If a depression were on the way, trust me, you'd know.

I find myself being more of a liberal than conservative, and I don't think there will be a depression. It's not the "Liberal media", it's News Entertainment. Take a story, add a little exaggeration here and there and, voila, you've got yourself a FOX, MSNBC, or CNN news station.

In a way, I agree. If liberalism is taken too far, it's harmful. However, saying "a certain liberal organization" isn't the right way to say it, I could say the same thing about the "certain conservative administration" with Nixon's Watergate scandal. That only shows a bias. I'd call it a "fundamentally liberal organization" and a "fundamentally conservative administration".

Liberalism isn't bad, nor is Conservatism, but taking either of the to the extreme, however, is.

+1, and with all past recessions, we will bounce back better than ever.

Very true, I'm more Conservative than Liberal, but not extreme...

If the market continues in this trend, the US will be in another depression. This will definitely affect the economies of other countries as well since the US is an import powerhouse.
