Alot of people around the world choose Australia because its a better way of living from where they original live. Job wise depends on what experience you have in a certain industry already.

Depends what field you're working in; any insight into what you're trying to do for work/what your experience is?

Yo, here is some advice from an Australian.

If you are looking for work move to either Sydney or Melbourne, its pretty expensive to live in Sydney (which is where I am at) but there are always plenty of jobs. If you are looking for something in construction it's not hard to get a job, everyone just wants experience etc. I don't know if you have applied for a Visa yet, or have even looked into the requirements because it's not easy to obtain.....

If you just want somewhere cheap to live, you can get shared accommodation (1 room) in Sydney for like $150-200 per week, groceries will probably cost you another $100-150. Wages for construction are not bad, you can make over $25+ per hour (depending on your experience) and overtime you will earn much more.

FYI if you live in the city there's no fucking big ass snakes or spiders.

My suggestion would be to look into obtaining a Visa, that will be the most important thing before you even think about moving to Australia.

I'll give you some insight from an Australian who's worked in construction. The average wage is around $20-$30 AUD depending on age/experience, There are always exceptions to the rule however. Where I live (Brisbane area) rent is around $450 AUD a week. Fuel prices are ridiculous, $1.40/Litre (Equivelent to $3.50 USD/Galon) So unless you find someone you're going to work with to carpool with that's something to factor.

Work isn't too hard to come by, A majority of home owners (In my experience) opt for pre-built frames (assuming you're referring to framing by being familiar with wood) which are made in the factories then shipped to sites. These jobs are harder to get it's more who you know what you know, General on-site framing isn't too hard to come by like I've said.

Regarding visas you'd need to do some research but off the top of my head you can get a standard working visa (I believe you need to get a job before you're in Australia and have the company sponsor you for a visa) or a holiday-working visa which costs around $500 iirc.

Yes you must have a Visa, this should be your first step and do research on how you can obtain one, and what limitations you may have.

This is accurate, but I would recommend researching which state/city , trust me Australia isn't all sunshine and rainbows, some neighbourhoods would mug you for your shoes

If you come to the Sydney the city is great and it's always funny seeing Ferraris/lamb is etc going 20-30kmh (rip $500,000)

Job wise all depends on what you're looking for and willing to do, Hospitals are ALWAYS under staffed and constantly looking for staff from nurses, food services, cleaners etc

Jobs like fast-food joints and shop assistants are require 0 experience and as long as you can speak English you're pretty much set

    Life in Australia

I am going to visit my friend in Australia next month, so I am planning all the details now. Who can tell me more about this fantastic country? What are the best places? Is it easy to find rental cars? I think it's a good idea to rent a car and explore as many interesting places as possible. Thanks in advance!
